There wasn't a whole lot he wouldn't do for his love.
He had risked his honor for her. He had given up his title, his land, his chance at the throne... Not quite for her, but she was safe because of it nonetheless.
He wandered around these misty, dark woods, because he was convinced she was better off without him.
He was losing his mind, because his heart knew that she wasn't.
So you could say that he would even sacrifice their love for her.
But the one thing he couldn't do, was watch this world burn for her.
Even though it broke his heart.
