After jumping through about a hundred portals, I am now officially, thoroughly confused.
And as I step through yet another one, I immediately tumble through the next. Just in what kind of hellish portal maze have I been dumped?
Another fiftyish portals later, I finally land in an open landscape. Strange metal constructs rise all around me, twisted into nightmarish shapes that don't seem to serve any purpose. More disturbing still, is the background noise. Between the metal echoes the highest pitched screaming I have ever heard.
Those portals don't seem so bad anymore, in hindsight.
A/N: Always be careful with what you wish for. Even if you just want to get out of the portal maze.
