Feelings; she'd always found them to be much more trouble than they were worth in the end. If she could sell them, she would have done so years ago.
Alas, she was stuck with them. Just as she was stuck on this godforsaken planet that made her feel all those emotions in the first place.
Face illuminated by a flashing neon sign, she tossed another rusty coin onto the bar. Looking at her warily, the bartender put down another drink in front of her anyway.
Around here, nobody seemed to care whether you handled your feelings the healthy way, or whether you were trying to drown them instead.
