She had been experimented on, and left behind with amnesia for years. Her adoptive sister had died, and she had only barely been able to revive her. She had been outcast, and slowly turned to the dark side. Then, to top things off, her city had been under siege, slowly being depleted of its energy. She had to die to save it, and coming back to life hadn't been all that pleasant.
By now, she figured she had enough reasons to seek out revenge. More than that, evil scientists always had to be stopped. Said evil scientist also being her father was just a minor glitch in her plans.
