She was a Queen, for crying out loud. Her entire job description could be reduced to just the one thing: remaining composed, no matter the circumstances.

And yet, she was struggling in that moment, struggling to keep her human side hidden. For royals were not meant to be human, apparently.

But how was she supposed to keep herself together, when she had to sentence her own sister to die? Sure, her sister was a traitor to the crown, and a threat to her queendom, but that didn't break their bond, forged in blood. It didn't make the task ahead of her any easier.

And yet, the grip on the hilt of her sword was strong.
