Rhett's POV

"It was all planned."

"What?" Sabay-sabay naming tanong ni Zerus at Laxus at pare-pareho kaming gulat.

"I knew everything before you know it." Nakangiting ani ni Gray.

What the hell is happening here?

"What? Pwede niyo bang ipaliwanag niyo samin? Dahil mukhang kaming tatlo lang ang walang kaalam-alam." Confused na ani ni Zerus.

"Everything was planned from the beginning." Seryosong sabi ni Gray at napatingin ito kay Caleb na parang sinasabing sabihin na nito.

"I have known Haylee and Kaylee ever since. They became my friends when I was young because our parents were also best friends. I was often at their house. Eventually, I got closer to the two of them, but I got closer more to Kaylee. Hence, maybe I had deep feelings towards her. When I got the chance to confessed, her cousin Connor preceded me wherein I also met in Italy during the engagement party. So I can't just admit that I like Kaylee. I didn't expect our parents have planned an arranged marriage. Consequently, I was delighted then. The case was Haylee admitted to me that she loved me for a long time, but I didn't take what she said thoughtfully. After the arranged marriage, Kaylee's parents flew to Italy but did not expect a plane accident. Because of what happened, my parents wanted to rush our wedding. Unfortunately, they were killed by that psychopath. She set up everything. She even kidnapped Kaylee to make it appears that she killed my parents. That was the time I went to London, and that's where I met you all. I went to London to think about how to settle everything and to be able to plan appropriately to ensure Kaylee's safety."

"Your story was insane." Puna ni Zerus ng tumigil sa pagsasalita si Caleb.

"What happened next?" Atat na tanong ni Laxus.

"I asked Gray's help because he is the only one with a sensible mind among you four."

"What? Damn you Caleb Logan! Kaylee is also important to me." Inis kong angil sa'kanya.

When Haylee was on their way escaping, the car they were riding in crashed into a tree. So maybe Kaylee doesn't remember me because she had amnesia. And my suspicions were correct. I also found the person who helped them before. In exchange for a significant amount, he had to tell me everything he knows about Kaylee. Moreover, after their parent's accident, all their wealth went to her Uncle and her sister Haylee. While I'm investigating, I found out that Haylee was going to kill Kaylee. She was serious when she said she loved me, so she planned to kill her sister because she knew I loved Kaylee. I found out all of her plans because of her secretary, who was Gray's ex. Vio is still deeply in love with Gray, so I got that chance to ask for her help. Vio was also angry with Haylee because she tried to flirt with Gray."

"O e bakit mo sinasaktan si Kay? Alam mo naman palang hindi siya si Haylee?"

Bigla namang bumuntong-hininga si Caleb bago nagsalita. "I have to do that. If I didn't do that her life would be at risk."

"Why? At dapat una palang pinaalam mo na samin, natulungan ka sana namin." Zerus asked.

"Jeth was her spy. Siya ang nagsasabi kay Haylee ng lahat nang nangyayari."

"And we must go with her play. Stupid, psychopath." Inis na ani ni Gray. "Not only stupid, she's a whore-- no scratch that. Insecure whore."

"So ang sinasabi niyo, ang lahat ay palabas lang?"

"Exactly, nakuha mo din Laxus." Ngumisi naman si Gray dito.

"Wait diba matagal ng nagtatrabaho sayo si Jethro? Paano niya nagawa yon?"

"Simply, Haylee flirted him and Jethro is crazy inlove with that slut. What unfortunate, right? Hitting two birds with one stone."

"You're being harsh Gray." Tatawang ani ni Zerus.

Ngumisi naman ito. "Just stating the fucking truth. Serves her right."

"Anyway, nakita ko si Kaylee sa engagement party niyo ni Haylee."

"I also saw her," "..with her husband." Ani ni Gray.

"So totoo palang asawa niya ang kasama niya. How did it happened? So yung kasama niyang batang babae ay anak ni---"

"I doubt it." Pigil sa sasabihin ko ni Caleb.

"What?"

"Nothing. I still need to find it out."

"So what's the plan?" Tanong ko dahil mukhang pareho lang naming pinoprotektahan si Kaylee.

"Let's just go with the flow. Kailangan pa rin natin mag-ingat. Hindi basta-basta ang kaaway natin. Remember she's  a dam psychopath." Sagot ni Gray.

"Gray's right. For the sake of Kaylee. We all need to protect her." Dugtong naman ni Caleb kaya napatango ako. Damn that Haylee. She's totally lunatic.

"I got your back dude." Nakangising ani ni Zerus.

"Count me in!" Ani ni Laxus na pangisi-ngisi rin.

Gray's POV

"Did you talked to her?" We are here in the kitchen. I followed Caleb as he stood up and went here.

"She's avoiding me." Sagot nito at nilagok ang canned beer na kakakuha lang sa ref. Tahimik naman akong nakinig sa'kanya.

"Ang lakas ng pakiramdam ko, Gray." Seryosong ani nito. Agad ko namang nakuha ang ibig niyang sabihin. Ngayon ko lang nakitang ganito kaseryoso si Caleb.

"What's your plan, Cal?

"Kailangan ko pa rin masigurado."

"Paano kung totoo nga? Anong gagawin mo? May asawa na siyang tao." Pag-papaalala ko sa'kanya. Saglit naman siyang tumahimik bago nagsalita at seryoso akong tinignan.

"She's mine. Mine alone, Gray."

Ngumisi naman ako at tinapik siya sa balikat. "That's a man."
