I often feel numb,
but today the numbness
was heavy,
weighing me down
and making it hard
to breathe right.
Making my hands
feel fuzzy
and my head
feel heavy,
this emptiness is
weighing me down
like it hasn't in
a long time.
It's a journey,
and I'm not at the end yet
(and I thought I was
further along than this)
but I'll get there
eventually.
