she remembers how
it was always so easy
for her to get lost in him.there was just something
that drew her in every time,
no matter how much
she tried to resist it.she always felt kind of
helpless in it,
like it happened
just out of her control,
subconsciously,
and she'd find herself
back by his side
without even realising it.perhaps it was the things
they had in common
(a sense of humour
and a brain that was
a little bit messed up)
or the way he always
seemed to need her more
than she needed him.whatever it was
it doesn't matter now.
