Harry: “Gimme a kiss!” You pouted, laying in bed with him. It was early in the morning, and he was tired, but you couldn’t fall back asleep. “I’m to tired to kiss anyone,” he sleepily mumbled, burying his face in the pillow. You smiled, crawling onto his back and laying on top of him. “You are so heavy,” he joked, “I think I’m dying. You are crushing me. I’m withering away..” he chuckled. You laughed and rolled off of him. “Here,” he said, giving you a sloppy, wet kiss in the lips. You laughed and pushed him away, wiping off your mouth, “ew!” You said, slapping his chest. He smiled then his expression turned more serious, “So, I was thinking while you are with me on tour in America, that we can visit your family, we’ve been together for nine months and I want to meet them, and while we are out there we’ll have the opportunity and..hey..what’s wrong?” He could see the sadness in your eye. “Harry, I don’t speak to my family anymore..” you admitted to him for the first time. “Wait what? Really? I’m so sorry, i didn’t know..” He said, pulling you into his arms. “It’s okay, I really don’t want to talk about it,” you said, looking up at him. “We never have to talk about it again, but I am kind of curious to why..” He said softly, rubbing your back. “I just..I moved here. They said if I moved to London then they wouldn’t talk to me again. They were really mad when I moved out here because they wanted me to stay and never leave America. There was a big family fight about it and when I moved, they never called or anything, so that was that. We just all cut connections all together. It was a super stupid reason too. I just, I don’t know, they just didn’t want me to leave,” you said, you felt tears in your eyes, remembering the day. You rubbed your eyes, refusing to cry in front of him. “Babe I am so sorry,” he sighed, still soothingly rubbing your back. “It’s okay, I just..maybe…maybe when were there we SHOULD try..ya know? We could just visit the house, and if they moved or something, then we can give up, but could we maybe try?” You said, you had never even thought about getting back in touch with your family, but now that you thought about it, you really did want to introduce them to Harry. “Babe we can do whatever you want,” he said, nuzzling his face into your neck. “Thanks,” you said, thinking about your sisters and brothers and parents. You heard Harry’s soft snores on your shoulder and you giggled, leaning down and giving him a proper peck on the lips before cuddling into him and falling asleep.

Liam: It was a few days after your engagement, and Liam had already called, Skyped, texted, and e-mailed all of his family members. You had been feeling kind of depressed, because you had no one to call or email, you hadn’t talked to your siblings since your parents died. You all just sort of cut off connections You sighed as Liam got up to go talk to his sister. You just lay on the couch, petting the dog. “Yes! That sounds fantastic, yes I’ll tell her. Bye love,” Liam said into the phone, hanging up and sitting down by you. “You okay?” He asked, kissing your cheek. “Yes, just feeling a bit tired,” you shrugged. “Well, I have something that will surely lift your mood. My mom said we should have a big breakfast, your family, my family, and then you and I, maybe even the lads. Like an engagement party,” he smiled and you sunk. You had told him your parents had died, but you had never told him that you haven’t talked to your brother and sister since. You suddenly felt ashamed. Your sensible, serious fiance was staring at you, and you were irrational and stupid, you let the death of your parents rip your family apart. You were the oldest, you should have been the one to stop the feuding, but you didn’t. “Hey, are you okay?” He asked when he saw the lack of excitement in your face. “Liam, I haven’t talked to my sister or my brother since my parents died a few years ago,” you admitted, looking at him. “Oh..oh I’m so sorry. I had no idea,” he said, pulling you onto his lap, “Why?” You shrugged, you couldn’t even answer that question for yourself. “We just pulled apart. We fought over who got to keep what, where they should be buried, who got my mom’s wedding ring, all that stuff. We just fought and fought, about all of it. They didn’t have a will because no one expected them to die in a car crash. It was stupid,” You sighed, leaning into his chest, pushing your face into his chest, above his heart. “Babe, maybe you should call them?” He suggested, you knew he would suggest something like that, and you knew he was right. You had cut off connection with them years ago though, calling out of the blue seemed weird. “I don’t know..” you sighed. “Babe, don’t you want them at your wedding?” He pressed, rubbing your back and kissing your cheek. “I’ll be with you the whole way babe,” he comforted and you sighed, thinking maybe it was time to end this family feud.
