Niall: Our newborn was handed to her as I hovered close to her. The bundle was wrapped in a tight blue blanket, eyes forced open from the lights of the hospital. Cooing and fidgeting against the warm blanket, he tried so hard to grab something so I give him my finger, watching him cling to it with ease. Staring down at him, he was so perfect, so small, and his face so pudgy, I couldn’t help but smile when I looked at him. “He’s perfect.” I smile, kissing Y/N’s head, absolutely perfect. She smiles up at me and offers him to me. I take him as she plays with the bottom of his blanket “You’re pretty perfect too.” she smiles. I can’t help but smile “Only because of you.”

Harry: I handed her the newborn kittens one by one as they came, Y/N cleaning them off carefully before snuggling them in their nice warm bed she had made. They were so small, and furry, and as my cat pawed over to her newborns, Y/N and I watched as she took them carefully into her, loving them already. “They’re so happy.” she says a small smile playing on her lips, and I already knew what she was getting at. I had know for a while that she wanted a baby, and I honestly was starting to think that I wanted one too. “Okay.” I say, and she looks up from the kittens, confused. “Let’s have a baby.” I smile softly, as she jumps up to hug me. “Really?” she asks. Nodding I scoop her up and kiss her “Really.”

Louis: Y/N stood beside me as I tried to cradle our baby to sleep. Well he wasn’t biologically ours, but I still considered him as my own. Y/N and I had been trying to get pregnant for a while, and finally, we decided to adopt. She was simply perfect, small and red-nosed, she cried up at me, fatigue and heat overwhelming her. Y/N took her from me, and swooned her as she hummed, our baby finally falling to sleep in her mothers arms for the first time. As I stared at the two of them, my girls, it didn’t matter that she wasn’t from us, but she was ours, and I loved her so much already, that I knew I always would.

Zayn:There was no way I was doing that again. My nostrils had just recovered from the poop explosion, and already it was time to change him again? I was having a hard time adjusting to life as a father. I had quit drinking the day Y/N and I found out she was pregnant, and attempted to try to quit smoking. I missed the nicotine, but he was worth so much more. The sleepless nights were nothing new, but the new glow that Y/N had was amazing. She was always so happy and smiling, fussing over our newborn even when he was crying or pulling her hair. She loved him so much, and she was such a natural at this and sometimes I felt so out of place, but he was so worth it. I would get the hang of this eventually. “I promise.” I smile taking a large breath before starting to change his his diaper again.

Liam: Right now, our baby, our baby that wasn’t even a few hours old was struggling for his life. Whether it was my fault or just a coincidence, I did my best to console her. She was crying, scared to lose what we had worked so hard to make. Constantly we would make appointments to make sure he was healthy and there had been nothing telling us that he wasn’t. Nothing until now. He needed to be alright. He was our family, we had grown to love him over the past nine months, and we wanted nothing more than to take him home, and start our new lives. I held her close as we waited, and finally, our blue bundle was handed to her, out tears of sadness and worry turned into tears of happiness, as we we reunited again as a family.
