You have a child from a previous relationship

Harry: No one could replace your daughter’s father but Harry did a good job of stepping in as a second one. Although her dad was as involved in her life as he could be, she sometimes needed someone to crawl into bed with at night when she had a bad dream or to hug her when she came home crying with a broken heart. Harry was that guy for her when her dad couldn’t be. He was her second daddy and although every child wishes for their parents to end up together, she couldn’t have asked for someone better to take that place in your life.

Louis: He was a little wary about dating someone with a child when he first met you but it seemed to be fate. He couldn’t help but fall for you. Your son seemed a little off put by Louis at first, the idea that he would now have to compete for your attention now that there was another guy in your life. Louis always involved him in your relationship though, taking him to the park with you and showering him with affection, your son’s jealousy soon fading as he realized there was room for two men in your life.

Niall: When it came to Niall, your son has his good years and bad years. When he was a little boy he looked up to Niall, seeing him as the man of the house and his dad. Once he began to understand he craved attention, wanting you all to himself. During his teens he rebelled against him, seeing Niall as wanting to be a replacement father, something that in his eyes Niall could never be. It was when he left home for college that he saw Niall’s true nature, that all of his life he’d only been caring for you and him, that even when he went against Niall and hated him, Niall still stuck through and was always there for him, even when he didn’t want him to be and now when he saw him as his dad again.

Liam: When the time came your daughter was never surer of whom she needed. He’d been there through it all. He’d taught her to ride a bike, played sports with her during her tom boy phase, and now, he was going to walk her down the aisle. Liam stood next to her, kissing her head as she slipped her arm through his, linking them as father and daughter. There was never a question as to who would walk with her as Liam had been there through it all, he’d been her father and now he would give the little girl you shared with him away.

Zayn: It was as if she was his own. Without her father in your life, Zayn immediately stepped in to take that role, falling for your daughter as quickly as he’d fallen for you. He was protective and loving to her, just as a father should have been. When she called him daddy his face would light up. That’s just what he was for the both of you, your sunshine in the storm, stars lighting the night sky because just when it seemed that nothing in your life could go right, he was there as her father and your love.
