These all take place 2-3 years ago.

Harry : "Harry!  Stop!"  You giggled as Harry threw you on his bed and tickled you.  "Not until you kiss me."  "I’m not going to do that, Harry.  I have a boyfriend."  You sighed.  He kept tickling you.  You were laughing and squirming so much you couldn’t breathe.  "We need a safe word!  I can’t breathe."  You said slowly in between giggling fits.  "Fine, I’ll stop but only because you keep kicking me."  You both laid back in his bed.  "Please tell me if you made it on X Factor."  You begged.  "I’m not allowed to say anything.  It would spoil the show."  "I’m your best friend, and I don’t even get to know?"  You pretended to be hurt.  "I’m sorry.  You’ll just have to wait until the X Factor starts like everyone else."  He smiled.  You pouted.  "It’s only a week until it plays, (Y/N).  You’ll survive."  Sure enough, Harry got through.  You watched your best friend’s audition tape play on your TV with your boyfriend.  You immediately called him to congratulate him, but the line was busy.  The next day Harry left for London.  You didn’t even get a chance to see him before he left.  You spoke on the phone every now and then, but soon you lost touch.  He was busy, you understood that.  But you missed him terribly. Every week you watched him on the X Factor, but he felt like a stranger because you never talked.  By the time he came home, you’d gotten over the fact you and Harry were no longer friends.  You just wanted to forget about it.

Liam : Your older sister is best friends with Ruth Payne.  Over the years you’d gotten to know Ruth’s younger brother Liam pretty well.  He’d even invited you to go to his X Factor audition with him because your sister was going to keep Ruth company while they waited.  “Are you nervous?”  You asked him as you waited as you stood in line with Liam.  “Very nervous.  I keep thinking about last time I was here.”  He was very distracted as he spoke.  “Liam, you know your good.  You made it through once already.  I really don’t think you have anything to worry about.  Your voice has only gotten stronger.”  You assured him.  “Thanks.”  He placed his hand on the small of your back.  The line wasn’t moving at all so he motioned for you to sit.  You were so close together your knees were touching.  “Thank you for coming with me.”  He smiled at you.  “I’m glad I could come.  I wouldn’t want to have to wait like everyone else to know you got in!”  You smiled.  Liam leaned in a kissed you softly.  You both looked away awkwardly.  “Sorry.”  He said quietly.  “No.  Don’t be.”  You took his hand.  Your relationship never became official, but after the audition you guys started spending a lot of time together. And it was tough watching him leave for the X Factor.  But even tougher hearing the rumors from Liam’s friends that he’d been seeing a girl he met on the X Factor.  No wonder he’d stopped calling.  Soon you and Liam were total strangers.

Louis : You were at your friends house party dancing around with friends.  You left to grab a drink.  While you were at the keg you a boy about your age, with way too long brown hair, like an extended bowl cut bumped in to you.  “Sorry!”  He shouted.  You filled up your cup with beer.  “You didn’t say, ‘it’s okay’ after I said sorry.”  He teased.  “It’s okay.”  You smiled.  “I’m Louis.”  He introduced himself.  “(Y/N).  Nice to meet you.  How do you know (Y/F/N)?”  You asked, you hadn’t seen him at your school so you were wondering why he was there.  “Who’s that?”  He asked.  You laughed, he was a crasher.  “This is her house.”  You told him.  “Yeah I was wondering who’s house this is.  No I’m lying I actually don’t care.”  He laughed.  “Come dance with me?”  “Sure.”  You smiled.  You two went down to the basement which looked like a club of some sort.  Drunken teenagers danced everywhere.  You figured Louis would want you to grind with him or something.  You hated grinding, you felt awkward, but you liked him so you wanted to hang out.  Much to your surprise Louis just wanted to have some fun.  He began doing strange dances he explained to you as, “Stop the traffic, let ‘em through” and “pat the dog, screw the lightbulb.”  You never laughed so hard in your life.  People had circled around you and Louis watching you dance ridiculous dances.  You were both out of breath after an hour of straight dancing.  He pulled you out of the circle and you made your way to the back deck.  “That was fun.”  You told him.  Louis leaned in and kissed you.  Soon he was pulling you back inside and up the stairs and the two of you found an empty bedroom.  You woke up the next morning, still beside Louis.  “Shit.”  You whispered.  It was seven am.  You’re parents were going to kill you.  You quietly put your clothes on a left. You wished you could have said goodbye to Louis, but you had to get home before your parents woke up.

Zayn : You sat in your school’s cafeteria with your three best friends.  You were discussing boyfriend options as all of you were tired of being single.   Your eyes scanned the cafeteria.  “What about that guy?”  You asked pointing to a guy with dark hair.  He sat at a table with a few guys but he was quiet.  “He’s in my english class, he doesn’t really say anything.”  Your friend spoke up.  “But he’s cute.”  Your other friend added.  “Go talk to him!”  Your third friend urged.  “No!  I’m not just going to walk up to him in front of his friends.  That’s weird.”  Your friends agreed with you there.  After lunch you all headed through the hallway to get to your next class.  “Look, there he is!”  You friend said.  The boy was was coming your direction, but he didn’t even seem to see you.  Before you knew it your friend shoved you causing you to fall into him.  All your books and his tumbled out of your arms.  “I’m so sorry!”  You apologized. You looked to see your friends snickering and walking away.  “It’s okay.”  He said quietly.  He gathered his three books and helped you pick up all your papers.  “I’m (Y/N).”  You introduced yourself.  “I’m Zayn.”  He smiled.  He looked at one of your papers he was picking up.  It was your english essay for the poetry unit.  It was marked with a big F.  You noticed he was staring at it.  “Yeah, English isn’t my best subject.”  You sighed.  “I could help you if you ever need it.  I do pretty well in English.  In fact I want to be an English teacher.”  He smiled shyly.  “That’d be great.  I’m about to fail the class, I need any help I can get.”  You smiled.  You ripped off a piece of the essay you’d gotten an F on and wrote your number.  “I’ll call you.”  He said.  He never did call.  In fact he’d stopped coming to school.

Niall : Niall lived down the road from you.  You weren’t really good friends or anything but he was always really friendly when you saw him.  Sometimes during the winter he’d come to your backyard with all the other kids and go sledding on your big hill.  You always had a crush on him and you would creep on his bebo page.  One day you were walking around town and you saw him.  You didn’t think you should say hi or anything because he probably didn’t really know who you were.  “Hey, (Y/N).”  He stopped you.  You were shocked when he said your name.  He knew you name?  “Hey, Niall.”  You smiled.  His friend stood beside him.  “You know Sean, right?”  You shook your head and introduced you.  “You know I’m going to Dublin tomorrow to audition for the X Factor.” Niall told you.  He was giddy.  “Really?  That’s amazing.  I hear Katy Perry is guest judging.”  You were a little too excited.  You needed to play it cool.  “Yeah, I know how much you love Katy.”  He smiled.  He knew about that?  All your friends knew you were obsessed with Katy Perry.  Maybe he was your friend?  You smiled.  “She’s so talented.  She better give you a yes!”  You told him.  “Yeah.  I’ll tell her a hello from you, okay?”  “Thanks,”  You smiled.  “Good luck tomorrow, Niall.”  “Thanks, (Y/N).
