Your child says their first word

Louis: “I love you, Tommy.” Louis said, kissing his son’s forehead. He was getting ready to leave for his next tour and you both wished that Tommy would have said his first word but no avail. Louis gently pressed his lips against yours, giving you his final goodbye kiss as he walked to the door. You put your son to the ground and he watched as his father walked to front of your house. He started to crawl forth a little then stopped, He then furrowed his eyebrows in concentration. “DADA!” He finally screeches. Louis comes to a halt and turns around. He walks back and looks at Tommy, a wide grin spreading on his face. “Bye Tommy.” He smile. “Dada.” Tommy whispered pointing to Louis as he walked to the tour bus with a smile on his face.


Liam: “Asher! Say something Ash!” Mia begged as your baby boy smiled happily at his older sister. Mia groaned and you laughed. “He’ll come around soon enough” you reminded. Jayson soon came in and started to play with Asher. “Asher, this is a car” jay explained rolling the toy car to your younger son. Asher grabbed it and put it in his mouth. “Asher! No!” Jayson laughed pulling the car out of Asher’s mouth. “Car.” Asher demanded as if he’s spoken a thousand times before. Your mouth hung open as you looked at your children. “Car!” Asher said more enthusiastically. “Liam” come here!” You yelled. Liam ran down stairs, worried eyes as you beckoned him over by your son. “Asher, what’s this?” Jayson asked holding up the slimy car. Asher looked at it and smiled. “Car” he giggled. Liam smiled and lifted Asher into the air. “That’s right buddy, you’re so smart”


Niall: Ever since Shaylee has been born, Niall became video camera dad. He hoped to catch everything on camera. Liam and Shaylee were in the play room as Niall filmed his two kids interacting with each other. The two and a half year old as talking up a storm as Shay listened. Niall chuckled as Shaylee giggled at her brokers crazy antics. “Shaylee, I love you!” Niall said. Your daughter smiled widely, her new teeth showing. Liam laughed as well and Shay walked closer to Niall. Niall grabbed her and sat her on his lap, his flip cam filming her. “I love you so much.” He continued. Shay looked at her dad, her blue eyes staring into the camera that Niall was looking through. She opened her mouth, concentration set on her face. “Wove ooo.” She tried to copy Niall . Niall grinned, “what was that?” He asked. Shaylee cocked her head as she tried again. “Wuv oooo.” She said more prominently. Niall smiled and kissed her forehead. 


Harry: “Carter. Look at momma” you cooed as you tried to get the Christmas picture. It was hard to keep a one, four and five year old all interested in the same thing. Harry made funny faces from behind you making all the kids giggle as they looked at you. “Perfect!” You said looking at the photo seconds later. You shows Harry who nodded and walked over to get your children out of the sleigh decoration that sat on your front lawn. “Momma loves you.” You said kissing Carter’s forehead as Harry gathered the other two. “Momma loves this outfit too. I bet Grammy is going to be so happy to see this on you.” You continued to talk to yourself. You made your way back into the house and placed Carter in his pack n play. “M-omma!” Carter stuttered. You turned around thinking it was Aiden. You look at the one year old. “Momma!” He grinned proud of his accomplishment. Harry clapped and you smiled. “Yeah Carter, that’s momma.” Harry agreed to his pointing.


Zayn: as your last child, Lelia has done everything first in your family. She walked earlier then her siblings, she ate solids faster, she lifted her head up before her siblings. She’s done everything except speak. With your little girl nearing closer to two, you and Zayn both started to get a bit anxious. Along with the rest of your kids. “Lelia, do you want this?” Kaiden asked holding up a baby snack. She shook her head. “How about this?” Ali continued holding apple slices. Again Lelia shook her head. As your teens tried to get Lelia to eat, you chased around your son Mason and Zayn sat at the table, entertained by your baby girls antics. “How about chocolate?” Kaiden suggested again Lelia shook her head. Zayn knew she wasn’t hungry but the two teens wanted to prove their babysitting skills. After many times of asking and head shaking, Ali tried once more. Lelia frowned and moved her mouth. “No!” She yelled. Zayn looked up startled and Ali gasped. “What was that?” Kaiden asked. “No.” Lelia stated softer. Your children’s eyes went wide as Zayn smiled walking to you little girl, “mum, Lelia said her first word!” Ali yelled excitedly.
