@louist91: Meet my little lad, Freddie.

"How's that look? Does that look alright?" Louis questioned, holding his phone in his free hand over to where you were settled up against the headboard of the bed, his other hand holding Freddie close to his chest as the snuffling baby closed his blue eyes and puffed out a soft breath against Louis' bare chest. You scanned the photo and the small caption beneath it as the likes and comments came filtering in, a smile lifting at the corner of your lips as you looked to your sleepy looking husband. as he laid beside you, his back pressed to the mattress with his knees bent and the soles of his feet pressed against the white cotton sheet.

"That looks great, Lou," you smiled, placing your magazine down upon the beside table and grunting slightly as you rolled over onto your side, pressing your cheek against his bare shoulder. "Do you want to feed him in a minute? He'll be up soon wanting food and I expressed a bottle of milk in case he needed it when we were asleep. I can go and warm it up," you suggested, looking up at him and already seeing his blue eyes staring down at you - blue eyes that had matched Freddie's colour.

"You stay here. You need to have a rest, alright? You gave birth almost a week ago, so I'll go and warm it up, and maybe catch up on the Donny game I missed at the weekend. I made sure I recorded it just in case this little lad decided to pop out," Louis smiled, a giggle leaving your lips as you rolled onto your back and closed your eyes contently. A gurgle left Freddie's lips as Louis sat himself up, kicking his legs over the edge of the bed and letting his feet touch the plush carpet, his toes curling against the material. "C'mon then, little man. Let's go have some bonding time."

"Don't be too long. I want a snuggle with you before I go to sleep," you smiled, looking to the illuminating red numbers on the alarm clock on your bedside table. The time reading 22:19, your eyes squinting against the bright light. "Can you pass me that book from the hospital bag? I never started it in the hospital," you stated, looking to where the over-flowing was still sat in the corner of the bedroom.

"Go to mummy for a moment, buddy. Daddy just needs to go for a wee," Louis chuckled, nudging his nose against Freddie's soft tufts of brown hair upon his small head. A whine left his lips as his blue eyes opened, his lips plump and moist and his tiny palm trying to grip at the skin upon Louis' chest. "Hey, buddy. Daddy doesn't have boobies. Daddy can't feed you. I'll get you some food in a minute, alright? Daddy just really needs a wee. He doesn't wear nappies like you, mister," he whispered softly, a bob in his step as he walked around the bed and hunched over to lay your baby son in your arms.

"Book," you demanded, pressing a kiss to his cheek quickly before tilting your head down to look at Freddie. Louis' feet padded away from bed as he bent over and crouched down to pull your book from the baby bag. "Hi, baby. Are you mummy's handsome boy? Oh yes. You're ahead of daddy in that area, Freddie. You're a lot more handsome than daddy, yeah?" You cooed, earning a grumble of incoherent words from your husband. "What was that, Tomlinson?" You teased, just as he threw the book lightly onto the bed, watching as it landed upon the bed beside your ankle.
