Harry: She was acting different. She wouldn’t let me buy her anything or even take her to dinner on Friday nights like we usually did. Even when we went out for the sole purpose of shopping, I ended up with bags full of items only for me. I could see her eyes wandering to the racks. She wanted things but she didn’t want to ask, or she was afraid of what I would think. When we got home I reached into a bag, pulling out a small box, a bracelet I saw her eying inside. “Harry, you didn’t have to do that. You should take it back.” She said even as I clasped it around her wrist, her eyes filling with tears. “Tell me what’s wrong.” I cupped her chin, making her look up at me. “I just don’t want you to think this is all I want because it’s not. I want you.” She chuckled, letting me know she thought what she was saying was ridiculous, which was true. I knew she loved me for me. “Who put those crazy ideas in your head?” I reached for the bracelet, running my thumb across it. She shook her head. “Your sister called me a few weeks ago.” She mumbled. I could feel fury building up in me, my own sister having put these ideas in her head. “Don’t worry, I’ll handle her. I know that she’s not right though.” I kissed her forehead, hoping to assure her that I knew what she loved me for, nothing but me.

Louis: Everyone had their suspicions but I never expected my family to doubt her intentions. When the subject was brought up I could do nothing but defend her, protect her name, and let my family and everyone know that even if they though she was with my for my fortune, they were wrong. “There’s no way she’s with me for my money. She’s got her own job and she’ll barely let me buy her anything. She insists on paying for date nights sometimes. She’s not dependent on me. She doesn’t care about my money.” I notified the media and my family, irritated that I had to explain but relieved that the speculation would be cleared.

Niall: “She loves me! You don’t understand. No, she’s the one person who doesn’t want me for fame or money. She’s the one girl I found who doesn’t even care about it and now you’re questioning that. It’s not your place and you’re wrong.” My voice was raised until I heard her footsteps coming down the hallway, silencing as she cracked the door. “I’ve got to go.” I excused myself, looking up at her with sad eyes. She walked over to me, taking a seat on my lap, wrapping her arms around my neck. “Don’t worry about them. I know you love me. I just wish everyone else could see that.” I nuzzled into the crook of her neck. She shook your head, kissing the top of my head. “You’re right, I do love you and I’m not worried about what other people think. I’m worried about them hurting you.”

Liam: The fact that she was in the entertainment business as well raised some questions among the media, among my fans, and even among my family. She was at the start of her career as a singer when we first got together but now everything was taking off. Some of that was because of her connection with me but no one could deny the raw talent she possessed. Somehow the hate from people had gotten to my family, their questions about her offending me. I did nothing for a while but finally, I had a solution. I settled on a trip to her first show, letting my family tag along so they could hear the passion she had for music and afterward the separate love that she had for me.

Zayn: In such a short amount of time she’d become one of the most important people in my life. There were three things in my life that I held close to my heart, my career, my family, and her. Now, I was questioning whether she’d come into my life for the right reasons, all because of my families doubts. “We just don’t want you to get hurt.” Everyone would tell me, so I began to question. I was giving her everything, taking care of her in every way. She hadn’t made an effort to make money of her own, knowing she could live off of my job. Now, as I listened to her I realized that all along, maybe she giving up her dream job because I was her new dream, I was giving her everything and in turn, she was giving her all to me.
