~Lucy's POV

Natsu didn't really lie last time... When he saw I wasn't making a progress he summoned himself and went to train me. On a different way than I had expected.

Now I was running 2 miles while Natsu was watching me do so. I finished my mile and stopped to take my breath.

"30 push-ups!" Natsu barks at me. I looked at him wide eyed. "30?!!" I screamed.

He raised an eyebrow. "Should I make it 40?" I shook my head immediately. Then a question came to my head. "Why should I actually listen to you?"

I mean, I am technically his owner... so...

"Because this is for your own benefit. Now do as I told you to," he said strictly, crossing his arms with a cocky smirk on his face. I sighed and began. I didn't want to make him upset.

By number 5 my arms gave up. They were shaking how much I tried to stabilize them. I fell to the ground and groaned.

"Is this seriously all you can do? 5 of the 30. Tch. We have a lot to do." He sighed. I stood up and brushed the sand of my clothes. I picked a water bottle and began to drink. I sat on a bench, we were in a park.

Natsu didn't stop me, neither did he say something afterwards. He was just looking at me, or thinking of something while staring through me.

"What does this kind of training even help with? I need to train my magic energy to summon you guys!" I said. I had to do all kind physical training.

He walked dangerously closer to me. He looked even mad at my question. But before I even could think why he stood in front of me. Natsu bent over so he was at the same height as me.

"Do you seriously think I want you to train that?" he slowly began. His tone was everything but pleasurable.

I was silent.

"No. I want you to train physically. You really didn't think I would let you summon your spirits so you could stand back and watch, do you? No. You have to train physically. Speed, stamina, self-control, strength, power, acceleration, fighting spirit. I will train you on that. A strong body will affect your magical energy. So you can fight side by side with us. Not just with your 'Lucy Kick' or your whip."

I looked down ashamed, the things he said... I haven't got those things. There are probably way more celestial wizards better than me.

I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder. I looked up, seeing him already staring at me with a hard glance.

"Why are you so down? Remember what I told you last time? I only need you to not give up and try. We all start at the bottom."

I nodded. "Can we please do the stamina today? I don't have the strength today," I asked, smiling innocently to convince him more easily. Those normally seems to work.

He stared at me, doubtfully. "Fine." He sighed in defeat.

After two hours of running Natsu clapped, meaning I was done for the day. He would always praise me afterwards, even if I totally sucked. And I must say, that's the best encouragement somebody could offer me.

"Well done, Lucy," he said, his eyes softening as I was still trying to catch my breath. "Keep this up and we're gonna be an amazing team," was the last thing he said before disappearing.

I smiled softly and walked to the Guildhall. I asked Mira for something refreshing.

Mira never said anything about my new spirit, till now.
