~Lucy's POV

It was Monday now, the day after Natsu and I almost kissed. I still remember the butterflies I got, but what did he? For him it was just a stupid test. Honestly, I'm so mad right now. He actually played me.

He didn't even return to my house, making me wonder where he slept. I went to the guild, a smile on my face as I saw it as lively as ever. I went to the bar and looked around. Mira, who was behind it, walked to me. "Good morning, Lucy," her angelic voice said.

"Good morning, Mira."

She narrowed her eyes as she looked around. "Did you and Natsu fight? Normally he follows you like a lost puppy."

"He—" I cutt myself off before I was going to tell her about the almost kiss. Mira being Mira will freak out. Saying all this and that. It was nothing. Just a simple accident.

It wasn't just nothing.

For him it was, so why would I bother? He sees me as a friend.

How can you know that for sure?

Otherwise he would have leaned in, duh.

He's Natsu, a dumbass, you think he knows what to do with feelings?

"Yo, Lucy." Mira snapped her fingers in front of me. "You went to dreamy land. Answer my question."

"Huh, what? Oh... well, I wouldn't say a fight," I said vaguely. Mira smirked and wiggled her eyebrows. "Sexual tension then?"

I slammed my face on the counter, a blush rising on my cheeks. "Mira!"

"Oh, there he comes," she said sweetly, referring to Natsu I guess. I looked up, her smile turned evil. "Now make up. NaLu must happen!" Man, she's so scary.

I heard Natsu ploffing down on the chair beside me, ordering some spicy wings. "Hey, Natsu!" I said. I think it's better to forget it happened, or almost happened. He looked at me surprised. "Hey... Luce. Sorry for yesterday..." he trailed off, not wanting to elaborate.

I waved it off. "Don't worry, forget about it."

Natsu looked almost sad actually. "But I don't want to," he said under his breath. I know for sure I wasn't supposed to hear that.

"Anyways, where did you sleep?"

"Oh, yesterday I built a house somewhere in the woods, Happy helped me so now it's our new house." He sighed, almost relieved. "I don't have to bother you anymore with sleeping by ya."

Oh...

I looked away, staring at the drink Mira unconsciously got me. I played with the straw. Natsu didn't say something either. Awkward.

Levy ploffed beside me. "Hey Lu~chan. What do you think about a girls night?" I smiled softly. "I think I need one, Levy~chan. Who are coming?"
