Chapter 8

PRECAP

I slowly traced the hand to see the face of owner of it.Who had the guts to mess with me?And when I got to see the face I froze in my place.The only word came into my mind was "BEAUTIFUL!"

Manik's POV

The moment I set my eyes on her everything else blurred out.The only thing I could see,hear or feel was her.She was just so beautiful.Her eyes were filled with so much anger and hatred.What do I do to change that?She was looking so cute even with that frown on her face I mean I don't know what to say because the only words I knew to describe a girl were hot and sexy but no she was something different.I don't remember when I was the last time I noticed someone's face..definitely not in this life.I saw girls but it always started from down to up and sometimes ended even before I saw their face.

I wondered how much more beautiful she will be with a smile on her face.The way she knitted her eyebrows together,the way she raised her eyebrows.My eyes unconsciously imitated the way her eyebrows moved.She looked so innocent that her anger didn't effected me a bit.I took few steps back to have a better look at her and my eyes traced over her body from up to down.F*ck noooooo!!!!!she was soo short!!!but wait!doesn't this make her a complete doll?I traced back my eyes to to her
face and once again I found myself lost in her eyes but someone had to block my way so I moved to side a little to have a better look at her and instead I got a glimpse of kabir..he was arguing with her.Wait....weren't we in middle of something?

I quickly went to kabir who by now was having a heated argument with her.I knew this would make kabir mad at me but I had to do this.I grabbed him by his hand and dragged him out of the library..with a smile on my face and my eyes all the time at the beauty in front of me.I need to make sure I meet her soon.

I took kabir to one of the empty class and he followed me all the way silently like some obedient girlfriend but I knew better.When he'll open his mouth he will be nothing like girlfriend but more like an angry wife.

I took a deep breath and let go off Kabir's hand.I turned to face him and smiled nervously."Hey kabir!wassup?"I tried to change the topic and looked around the room not wanting to have a eye contact with him."How you doing?"I asked waving my left hand at him.Kabir took a deep breath and scanned me from head to toe.And suddenly his expression changed from anger to normal one."Oh I was doing fine!"kabir said with a sarcastic smile."Untill my dumb**s friend came in between and ruined the moment."kabir said still smiling at me."Okayyyy"I managed to say that much and turned around."Do you care to explain?"kabir asked.
"Or wait is it just exactly what I saw?"kabir asked this time with a smirk.

"What did you saw?"I asked him not looking in his eyes and tried my best not to stutter."Okayy so you did this for that girl?Am I right?or Am I right?"he asked and I mentally facepalmed myself.Now no power in this World can stop kabir from torturing me.

NANDINI'S POV

I woke up and it was 8:30.No way!!!Navya told me she would come to my house to pick me up at 9.I had only half an hour and I was still in my bed.I rushed to bathroom and got ready within 15 mins.I was badly panting by the time I came to kitchen.

Chacha smiled at me and I greeted him.Then I quickly finished my breakfast.Chacha looked at me with amusement in his eyes."Am I dreaming?or you are really trying nit to be late to college?"Chacha asked."Oh chacha I'm so sorry I didn't said you this yesterday but I got a friend and she's amazing.She's even coming to pick me up now.So yep I'm excited for the day!"I said in a single breath.Chacha smiled at me kindly and suddenly his smile dropped.I knew what he was thinking."And about the things I have lost...I'm no more worried about them.Because what's meant for me will come to me no matter what happens" I said and it worked.I actually said that just because I didn't wanted chacha to feel guilty but I went ahead and impressed myself as it worked on me too and it boosted my confidence more.

In college:

We attended two classes which would have been boring without Navya.When the bell rang for the break we ran out of the class.Navya wanted to eat something so she went to canteen while I went to library to meet chacha as I didn't wanted any repeat telecast of yesterday.

As I entered the library what I saw made my blood boil.Someone held my chacha by his collar.HOW DARE HE?I quickly went to him and slapped his hand away.I was so furious at him."How dare you?"I shouted angrily but I didn't get the reaction that I expected.Instead he looked at me with such amusement I guess?Either way I was angry and didn't wait for his response."Okay I don't know who you are nor I am interested to but I know one thing and that is this isn't a way to behave with elders!"I snapped angrily at him.But he didn't seem to be effected by my words and this made me more angry.I kept yelling at him but was losing track if my words because of two reasons.
1.He was so tall that he made me look like some minion in front of him.I was only able to notice this when he made some distance between us.
2.His eyes were so intimidating and distracting.But I wouldn't express I was effected just like him.
I raised my voice a bit just to make sure I was audible to him.I mean seriously?He didn't said a word?I was about to give up when the guy beside him who was standing there looking in between me and this "Statue of unity"Yep that what I'll call him...stepped between us.

"Whoah!chill I guess you are new here and don't know who we are!"he said raising his eyebrows."I am not interested to!"I said crossing my arms.I was trying to concentrate but i don't know why my eyes went back to that "Statue of unity".Why is here staring me like that?Creep!

"Well it's none of your business so better you back off before you get into trouble."he said and took a step towards me."What if I don't?"I asked and took a step forward.What?I wasn't going to backoff.A hand came on my shoulder and I turned to look at Chacha who was silently telling me to let go.But I assured him and turned to face the guy only to find him running away.What?Seriously?Are they crazy?
