Chapter 51

NANDINI'S POV

My sleep was rudely disturbed by the sound of heavy rain and thundering.I opened my eyes and sat on bed and my first instinct was to look at Manik to make sure he was sleeping comfortably.When I looked at him,I cursed silently as he was sleeping without blanket.I rushed to him with my blanket and draped it around his big,broad,handsome,attractive and sexy frame.I stood at the end of the couch and stared at him like the creep I was turning into.How favourite this blanket will be mine from now on.I smiled and went towards the balcony to lock the balcony door since it was banging because of the havoc rain was causing.But when I went near the balcony I smiled and smelled the rain.I turned around and leaned my back against balcony to look at Manik.How can I sleep when I'm having the most beautiful veiw of my crush in my bedroom and rain outside.If only I knew what exactly we are.Or how he feels about me.I turn my back to him to enjoy the rain and not to overthink.I'm getting wet in the rain but I could care less.I'm happy today.Happy that the only person and the first person I've fallen in love with is in my room for me!To make sure I'm fine.Happy that he was here all day for me.Happy that he says I belong to him.Happy that he does put alot of efforts to make me happy.Although we are not some typical couple but I can't complain because he's the same Manik who I thought won't even look at me.The same Manik I was and am hopelessly falling in love with but was sure I could never have him.But I do now,so I couldn't be more happier.I sigh contently and open my arms facing the sky to feel the rain.

I try to shout when I see two hands resting on balcony from behind me and caging me,but before I could do that comes the husky voice of Manik which makes my heart go wild in my chest.

"Enjoyed the rain beautiful?"
I had this strong urge to lean into his arms but I didn't.Because I didn't trust myself enough to do that since the rain had brought out some hidden emotions out of me.

MANIK'S POV

I woke up and my eyes searched for Nandini on bed.Somehow I had a blanket on me which I don't remember taking while going to sleep.I found Nandini standing in balcony all drenched and I assumed it had rained and she was looking at sky.What a beautiful view.I stayed at my place for long time staring at her but when she didn't acknowledge me I went to her and caged her between  my arms and balcony although I wanted to take her in my arms.

"Enjoyed the rain beautiful?"

Her back straightened but she didn't turn around.So I leaned forward still not touching her and kissed her cheek.That did the trick and she turned around.She was looking at her feet and not making an eye contact with me.I placed my finger below her chin and forced her eyes to meet mine.I took in a sharp breath for her eyes mirrored my own deepest feelings for her which I had buried knowing how pure she was.She closed her eyes and her lips parting in anticipation.I could never forget this beautiful sight infront of me or the fact  that inspite of her rules she is ready for me.But I knew better than to give in.I didn't wanted to anything that she and I would regret later.

I cupped her face in my hands and gently kissed her forehead.

"Manik!"she protested and took everything in me to not to kiss her right then.

Then I gently kissed her eye and then other eye.

I tried to move away from her but couldn't bring myself to do that.

I placed a quick kiss on her nose.I thought this should be enough and I should move from her now.

Then I looked at her parted lips and all my caution flew out of window.A single peck wouldn't hurt.Right?

I pecked her lips and Nandini bunched my shirt at sides in her hand.If I thought one peck would be enough then I was wrong.That should be the biggest misunderstanding I had in my life.I found myself leaning towards her to peck her lips again.I couldn't get enough of her,so I pecked her lips again and again.Then I left an open mouth kiss just below her lips and she shivered in my arms bringing me back to my senses.

I picked her up in my arms and carefully placed her on bed.I went in bathroom and brought towel to dry her hair.I placed her head in my lap and dried her hair.Then I placed her back on pillow and when I was about to leave her bed she tugged on my hand pulling me with her on bed.I tried to talk but she already made herself comfortable by buring her face in my chest.And I couldn't be more gentleman than this,so I wrapped my arms around her pulled her more into me, stroking her hair.

If I had any doubt before all were gone now.I was more than sure aboutmy feelings and I couldn't be more happy that it's Nandini.

"I love you babygirl."I said placing a kiss on her head full aware that she's asleep.
