MANIK'S POV

"I don't understand both of you.First you both fight and then you both care for eachother.Are you both mad?"kabir laughed at it.He actually laughed.

"She's like the sister I never had.What did she say?"

"Actually she told me come to you"I said sheepishly. kabir just smiled.

"But still we are going without her.Get ready.Because today is our last free day.From tomorrow we are going to my parents place to help in Mukti's wedding preparations.

NANDINI'S POV

I stood frozen in my place holding my phone tightly to my ear.I couldn't believe my ears.Is this even real?

"Nandini?Please say something or I'll have a panic attack."Manik asked in a low voice.

He will have a panic attack? I'm the one who should say that.

"Yeah ok."I said really not meaning it since I wasn't paying attention to him anymore because I was still stuck on those words Manik just asked me.

Since few days Manik was busy with Mukti's wedding preparations so we weren't meeting or bunking classes as much as we used to do so to makeup for it Manik asked me if I would like to go on a date with him.

WILL YOU GO ON A DATE WITH ME?

After the line went dead I sat on my bed.

I couldn't even say it was a dream come true because I didn't even in my dreams expected that it would happen.Ok maybe that was too much,I did dream about it but that was it!But here he actually asked me on a date.

I kept repeating myself and when I was finally succeeded in convincing myself that this wasn't a dream but infact very much real.I squealed in excitement not caring how loud I was or how bad my voice sounded.I ran out of my room dancing and in record time I stepped down the stairs.I ran towards the sofa throwing all the cushions everywhere.I ran towards Chachu who came out of kitchen probably because he heard me squeal.He was holding pan in one hand and was looking at me confused.

"What happened Nandu?"he asked me worried but when he saw me happy his face broke into a smile.

"He asked me out for a date.Can you believe it?"He" asked me out for a date!!!"I said Chachu holding him by shoulders and spinning him around with me.

I placed my hand on my forehead suddenly worried.
"Oh my God!What am I going to wear?"

"Chachu do you know what should I wear?"I asked shaking him.

"Should I do heavy or light makeup?"I dragged my hands along my face.

"What if he doesn't like my makeup or me?"I bit my lip and stared at my reflection in the full length mirror in the hall.

"But he asked me out which means he does like me! isn't it?"I asked once again looking at Chachu and he just nodded his head.

"Oh my God he likes me?"I once again squealed in excitement which didn't sound anywhere near to a human's voice and I ran upstairs to my room repeating "he actually asked me out" like a mantra.

Once inside the room I closed the door and took a dress out.
