MANIK'S POV

               "Nooo"she said mindlessly with a smile while my eyes widened.Then it turned around.I had a smirk on my face while her eyes grew wide.Got you little liar.

       
NANDINI'S POV

              Okay!So can anyone tell me the nearest suicide spot?Maybe I should just Google it.The way Manik is looking at me right now is enough proof to know how big mistake it was to blurt that truth out.I glared at Navya and she started looking here and there avoiding my gaze.Be casual?Look where casualty lead me to.When I said Navya I was worried of how to be around Manik,she told me to be casual.And now here I am.. Maybe this happened because I was over acting to be normal but what could I have done?I wasn't normal!

            "No she never had boyfriend as long as I've known her.Right Nandini?"Way to go Mukti you weren't supposed to tell that to your brother.I thought to myself and turned to her and gave a tight lipped smile.Was this necessary to be mentioned?Never mind.I need to be dead anyways.And yes "he" was her brother.The same person who was caring and loving to his sister.Not that I doubt it but I never thought such person to be a player like this.Mukti told me this when we were in pool.  Kabir and Mr. I mean Abhimanyu was shocked too which meant they knew about this?Great.
After the game was finished everyone started walking to their rooms and I was walking between Navya and Mukti holding their hands.If I will be alone,that zombie would kill me.I mean Manik will get a chance to talk to me.We were walking towards stairs and when just for a while Mukti went to kitchen to bring water,I heard Manik call my name.Navya was about to turn but I quickly grabbed her hand and ran to our room

          When Mukti showed us our rooms in afternoon Navya and I insisted on staying in one room as it would give us some more time to be together.As soon as we entered the room we locked the door and started jumping in excitement covering our mouths with hands so that we don't scream out loud.We then we to bed and held each others hand and jumped till our energy was drained.

"Navya is this true?"I asked her as we sat on the edge of the bed.
"I don't know about Manik but kabir is for real.I saw him."
"So mean!"I said and poked her hand.

"It's ok,we have plenty of rooms here"Mukti said once again as she came to us with water bottles.I took the bottle from her.Navya and I looked at eachother and smiled sheepishly.She was insisting us to take our own room since we came.

"Actually we want to be together because we feel It will just give us more time together.Just like sleepover."

"Okay then do you mind if I join too?"

"Of course you can join us."Navya shouted and we giggled.

"I'll join you guys shortly I have some business to take care of."Mukti said and went while we went into our room.

               Navya went to freshen up and I layed on bed thinking what happened since morning.First Manik joined me out of nowhere on this three long days trip.Then I get to know he is my best friend's brother.Then he gets to know I was lying about being committed.And this all happened in a single day!How did I pull it off?How do I manage to get myself in trouble always?So perfectly!What else is going to happen in these two days?I buried my head in my hands and sighed.

            "You're making things difficult for yourselves."I heard Navya say and I sat up straight.

"What are you talking about?"

"I am asking you why?Why are you pushing him away?You like him and It's clear that he likes you.Why don't you just give him a chance?Is it because he's playboy?"

"Nope.It's because Chacha said me to stay away from him."

"Who you lying to Nandu?I know there's something to it more than that."

"Ughhh!How do I say this? Look I don't believe in relationships.And by relationships I mean this girlfriend and boyfriend thing.Call me old fashioned or anything but the only relationship I believe in is marriage."

"No one is calling you old fashioned.It's just that people have started seeing bad things as fashion and good things as old fashion.And about you..you are soo.."

"Boring.I know.I heard that alot."I cut Navya in middle.

"No idiot.You are so pure.And if you and Manik are going to talk don't tell him this."

"But why?"

"Because as far as I know he likes you.And if he does he'll find this super cute and then he won't be able to control if he won't control then something which should happen after marriage will happen now!"

"Shut up Navya!"I said throwing a pillow at her.Though my heart warmed at her words when she told Manik likes me.Does  he really likes me?Nope.Navya just over thinks.

"But what now?If Manik will make a single move I can't take my guarantee that I can control myself.And after he came to know I don't have boyfriend..I think he'll definitely talk to me.What do I do????"I screamed the last part and Navya was calm applying her moisturizer.

"What?Are you listening to me?"I asked her again throwing one more pillow at her.

"Just go with the flow."

"Yeah just like you said in evening and I ended up spilling the truth and if I listen to you again I might propose him before leaving from here.Why did I asked you for advice at first place."I frowned and sat folding my arms.And Navya just giggled.

"Wanna talk about it?"I asked her when she layed on bed then got up and wasn't sleeping.She was taking out the cotton from pillow.

"Nothing.I'm feeling better."she said and I stayed quiet."My self respect was hurt when he said that to me.But when I slapped him today I feel my self respect is restored.But I don't think he'll ever like me.I'm just not his type and I'll never be.Not after slapping him."she chuckled at the end.I didn't knew how to comfort her.So I thought of changing the topic.

"Navya!You actually slapped him.What?How?"I asked and laugh and it was genuine laugh I really wanted to ask her this.Her eyes lit up hearing me.

"When Mukti told me to slap I knew I had to act in this moment or I'll lose this opportunity so I just did it.It felt awesome."she said and we both started laughing.And just then we heard the door open.We saw Mukti enter the room.

"What's going on?"she asked and I saw her face flushed but didn't got a chance to ask her.As Navya replied her.

"Pillow fight!" Navya said and threw a pillow at her and we all started the war.I mean pillow fight.
