Chapter 25

NANDINI'S POV

Chacha then made Mukti promise she would take care of me and then I took my phone and ran to my room as Mukti told me what to pack for tomorrow.

Present

Manik was standing there dressed in white shirt. I don't know how can he make that simple white shirt look so damn good.My refused to believe what I just saw.He was actually standing in front of me.And was looking at me?Wow!He was looking at me and smiling.Then he stretched his hand forward for me to hold.I looked to sides and then turned back to see if he was addressing me.Indeed he was As I saw no one around.I smiled like an idiot and moved forward to hold his hand and seconds before our hands could meet everything started to shake.It was Earthquake.I was sure it was. Earthquake.As I was shaking and the in front of which Manik was standing started shaking and all I was focused on was on his hand to meet mine.I heard someone calling my name over and over again.Before I could process what's happening I feel a sudden weight on my lower body.I peel my eyes open and see Navya sitting on my legs and shaking me while calling my name to wake me up like some kid.

"What's wrong with you Navya?What are you doing?"I said and threw her away from myself.I tried not to sound rude but I'm not sure if I didn't.I was frustrated!She woke me up from that beautiful dream.I sat up on the bed and then once again I saw Navya smiling as she was sitting down and resting her chin on her hands which were folded beneath her.Did I just threw from bed?Why is she still smiling? Wait!What is she doing here at first place? What's happening here?"Navya?What are you doing here?I mean how?Why?"I am so confused right now."I came here now in the morning.Right on time 7'o clock."she said proudly.Last night I called her to tell her about the birthday and then we both went for some shopping."On time for what?"I asked and got out of sheets and went towards bathroom."Because we are going with Mukti today Nandu!Remember?"she said and I turned around to look at her."It's good that you came here but Mukti told me she would be here by 10'o clock or 11"I said.

"But why so late?"

"She told her brother and his friends won't wake up by that time."

"Wow! brother? friends? interesting"Navya said and started giggling and I smiled at her.I never thought I would miss listening about boys from her.She always used to show me how hot that boy looked or how good that other boy's beard was and it would go on and never ended.I would never pay attention to her talk or look at boys but She had stopped may be I can't say stopped but reduced seeing other boys since she had crush on that kabir.So I thought it was good of her seeing many boys and not being hurt instead of seeing one and being hurt Everytime.And now one more thing was good that she was very much willing to come with me and was as excited as I was.

I freshened up and we both did something what We called make up.It was lipstick and little eyeliner.We both then came down and greeted Chacha at table as we sat for breakfast.Last night I hadn't ate dinner as Chacha burned the food and I went shopping and told Chacha I would eat outside but I forgot to eat out of excitement.So panipuri was all I had last night.I was now starving.We both ate maggi as Chacha was good at making only this and Chacha once again said both of us to take care of each other and then left for college while we ran to our room to check our bags if had kept everything needed.

We heard loud honking from outside and jumped in excitement.Mukti was here.I went to window and saw a black car standing in front of our house and Mukti was looking at house with a phone to her ear and other hand on her hip.I quickly went inside and took my handbag and phone and saw my phone vibrating.It was Mukti.I received her call and said I was coming down.And I looked around to see where Navya was but I didn't found her.Ofcourse she went down before me.I smiled and ran downstairs.

           Our bags were already down and Navya was dragging her bag out.I was really excited to go as I considered it was just Mukti,Navya and Me.And about her brother and his friends?I can ignore them.I was really good at ignoring boys and unfortunately now Manik was on that list too.Thinking about him made me a bit sad but I shook my thoughts away and ran towards car.I took my bag out and started dragging it out with help of its wheel when I bumped into hard chest.I quickly rubbed my head in pain and looked up see the familiar handsome face.I couldn't believe my eyes.It was Mr.Mehta! How's that possible."I'm sorry sir!"I said and he chuckled."You need not be.And please don't call me sir.I'm just.."he said and turned around to look at Mukti who was looking at him smiling."Consider me your friend.If you can!"he said and smiled sheepishly at the end.I nodded and smiled and again tried to pick up my bag but he took it from me.
"Let me help you" he said and kept the bag in the car.

             I went and hugged Mukti and she told me to get into the car as we were late.Without another word I sat into the car beside Navya and Mukti sat beside me.I smiled in contentment that finally something like this happened.I'm finally going out with friends for three days.

"Hi Nandini!"a voice rang in my ears and jumped in fear.I turned to look at my back seat and saw kabir sitting there.My eyes grew wide and I turned to look at Navya.Her face was flushed and I could see how hard she was trying not to show any emotions.

I'm trying my best to bring them face to face as I can't wait but it's just not happening.Next chapter they'll definitely come to know and that would be real fun.So let's wait.
