Chapter 62

NANDINI'S POV

To say that the next day Navya and I were happy would be an understatement.We were practically on cloud nine.Navya and kabir were into some nameless relation which bothered me but Navya said she saw kabir flinch even at the thought of relationship so she said she'll take one step at a time and she's fine with just being with him.That girl is seriously in trouble but if it makes her happy I won't stop her.

Days passed quickly with Manik busy with wedding works and with me and Navya spending time with Mukti for her shopping.Mukti would come and pick and drop me from home whenever we went out so Chacha didn't mind me going out.And when I told him about the proposal he warned me to be careful and hugged me.

When Mukti came to know that Manik proposed me..she was the happiest person.Since Mukti wanted to do her own shopping..it was taking us long time to decide on dresses.Today is no different..we have plans to go out.I was loving this girls time since Mukti won't be with us for a long time as she's going abroad but I also miss Manik.He's been sick lately and he doesn't take care of himself.I feel he's over working but he keeps saying he want her sister's wedding to be perfect.

"Shall we leave?"Mukti asked snapping her fingers in front of my eyes.She sat beside me on couch and gave a touch up to her makeup.Previously when went out for shopping she didn't used to apply so much makeup so I asked her what was so special today.

"Today..."she said rubbing her lips and checking once again in mirror and then she smiled and kissed at her mirror before closing it.

"Is my date with Abhi.We were so busy in these shopping and all so today we are bunking our own wedding shopping and till then you can meet Manik"she said with a wink making me blush.And that moment I realised that we were still at my home and Chacha could hear us ..so I indicated Mukti to talk slow and just then Chacha came.

"Leaving girls?"he asked smiling at Mukti and Me.

"Yup"Mukti said offering Chacha a chewing gum which he accepted.

"Be careful and return in time."he said and waved us good bye.

We both hugged him before leaving and sat in Mukti's car.I was so glad that I could meet Manik and that he would rest for some while.Mukti informed me that kabir had already picked up Navya and they had some movie plans.

Mukti took me to a hotel and told me to wait for Manik on the rooftop as he booked table for us there.

I went to the rooftop and saw a breathtaking view.Manik waiting with his back turned towards me so I did what any sane person would do.I ran towards him and hugged him from behind.

Manik turned and leaned in to kiss me and I gladly  closed my eyes and waited for the kiss that never came except for a loud thud.I opened my eyes to find Manik lying on floor and I was few seconds away from passing out myself.

I called the hotel management as soon as possible and they took him to the hospital by an ambulance.All the way to the hospital my brain wasn't responding.I couldn't see or feel anything except Manik lying in front of me.The only sane thing I did was I informed Kabir about this.

I felt his hand's grip tighten on mine and I lifted my head from beside him to look at Manik.It's been around an hour since he lost his consciousness and doctors said it could be because of weakness and dehydration.So Manik had an IV attached to his hand.
I lifted my head to look at Manik and he slowly opened his eyes.As soon as he looked at me he smiled.That one smile did the trick and all my anger came out as tears.
I started hitting him on his chest repeatedly and Manik held both my hands in his.

"First things first babygirl.. let's first complete that kiss"he said and tugged me towards him and I fell on him.

I closed my eyes with tears still running down my eyes and kissed him.Manik kissed  me slowly and softly like he was apologizing to me.His kisses always made me forget everything.Yup kisses.We kissed more than two times before this.I don't know how long we were like this before Manik pulled back to wipe away my tears.

"Babygirl you made my face wet with your tears."he said smiling and I remembered I was angry on him.

"Don't you dare talk to me"I said pulling away my hand from his.

"Didn't I tell you to take care of yourself and not to over work?But you didn't listen to me now look at yourself.I hate you"I said wiping away my stupid tears which didn't let me scold him without looking like a stupid little girl.

"Babygirl you literally said a week ago that you love me"Manik said chuckling and pulling my cheeks and kissing them.. making me more angry but before I could say anything kabir barged in like he was on a mission to kill someone.He and Navya came here as soon as I called him like they were in beside building.They were here since then and they went to bring medicines after waiting for Manik to wake up.

He came in and raised his fist to hit Manik on chest but stopped his hand in mid air.

"Wtf is wrong with you?"

"What did doctors said?"Manik asked calmly smiling at us.

"Dehydration"was kabir's dehydrated response.

By then Navya came in and they both shook hands like old friends while I sat there and saw them with amused smile.

"How are you now?"Navya asked Manik .

"I'm sexy"was Manik's response.

Kabir and I didn't wanted to but still burst into laughter.

I'm obsessed with this self obsessed man.

"Manik..."we heard a voice from the door and we turned around to look who the voice belonged to.It was Manik's mom.
