"First of all, how dare you say that my mother was going through an 'angsty phase'?! I'm not sure if all of you fucking noticed, but this is hell a lot more than a phase!! It took her hurting our uncle for you to realize how much she's lost herself when by then it was clearly too late! If this is an angsty phase might as well call the Soviet Union a phase! Call Nazi Germany a phase! Hell, call Any country's independent "a phase"!!! If that woman walks in with her country's military uniform you might as well ask who she's going to war with because that's the only reason she would wear something that's associated with every war she's had and would like to forget!! I am ashamed that any of you didn't try to stop her! You only tried twice, twice before you gave up on her."
"Yes, actually America went through a phase when he wanted his independence. Then that phase turned into a war."
"Well I'm not sure if you've fucking noticed, my mother's not some America-wanna be no matter what anyone says. She's her own damn person that's been screwed over too many times!! She's so scared of what her 'enemies' would do to her, that she refuses to realize that her only enemies are her people. They're the ones killing us from the inside. If any of you kept trying to get her to open up, over and over, she would have cracked. She would have told all of you what was going on, but did you care?! Why would you, you're all worried about your own problems you narcissistic bastards. I am aware that your countries have more to do than us states, but that doesn't excuse any of you from trying to comfort her. She needed comfort, a basic human necessity! Thanks to you narcissists she can't even control her own mind; she has multiple personalities disorder. Thanks to you she's had countless panic attacks, breakdowns, hell she's tried to kill herself! All us states are paranoid that one day we'll wake up without a mother: that's how bad it's gotten. Now if you're going to suck up your pride and help, start doing it now. If not get your ass out of this room, because calling her a 'monster' will only make things worse. All we want is our mother back, not to lock her up and lose her forever." All of the nations stayed quiet, some a bit shocked. Her breathing started to calm down a lot, guess she was keeping all of that in. She looked over to us. "Guess ya bastards don't care, do you. I'm heading out, call me if you need anything pops. Maybe then I can find some people who care." Did she just call me pops as if I am an old ass man?!
"Ohhhh C'MON!!" She slammed the door behind her.
"Papá where's sister going?"
"If I had to guess...Somewhere with ice cream."
"Oh...is uncle Iggy and the others gonna help momma??"
"They will see what they can do."
"I miss playing with you and mama..."
"So does your mother and I. Maybe when this is all over we both can figure something out for you and your many brothers and sisters. Okay?"
"Ok..." I picked her up and she buried her face into my chest. I then turned to address the nations.
"As you can tell Maria's not the only one suffering. Our kids are starting to lose it too...we need to try and stop her before anything else happens to them. So, any ideas?"

Within a few hours, we finished the meeting. Jal hasn't come back, and Sur fell asleep. I waited out a little while longer in hopes of her coming back okay. After a few hours, I started to call over and over, to which she didn't respond. My panicking grew worse and worse with every missed call. After what seemed like an eternity, the door opened to reveal California dragging in Jalisco.
"Some help would be nice! She got wasted on sugar and crashed right now. "
"Oh thank god!"
"Nooo. Oh, thank CALIFORNIA FOR DRAGGING HER ASS BACK HERE!" Ohhh Cali is the one with Maria's personality. I went over to help her take Jal to a room, where she would get some rest. Both of us huffed. That girl's heavier than I remember. It was pretty late, so I told Cali to get some rest. She nodded, and I headed off to sleep. After a while, I felt something tap on my back.
"Papá? Papá wake up please...papá wake up..."
"Sur? Sur what's wrong?"
"Jal's acting scary...I think she's having a p-panic at-tack" I quickly got up and ran over to where Jal was, with Sur running right behind me. I looked over to see Jalisco on her bed, shaking, barely breathing. I quickly went over to her and try to calm her down.
"Jimena relax, breathe"
"M-mama....m-mama....m-muerta..."
"She's still alive Jimena, she's ok. We're all alright." Her breathing slowed down, and she slowly stopped shaking. After a few minutes she calmed down enough to speak.
"I-I'm s-sorry papá...I f-forgot I was w-with you....I-I counldn't f-find mom a-and i thought s-she killed h-herself..." She had tears in her eyes and hugged me tight.
"Hey it's ok. Just breathe...she's not going to die. I won't let her."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
