Jalisco's Pov

All of us states were silent, some of us still shedding tears. All we wanted was our mother. Not this foreigner trying to replace her. I felt Sur come closer to me, and out of instinct I hugged her. She was still crying, her quiet sobs muffled against me.

"Sur it's ok. No more tears little sis.."

"I want mama..."

"I know, but she'll be back. She promised us..." I tried holding back the tears myself. Puebla probably saw me struggling, and stretched his hand out to hug us both. The whole trip was silent, none of us uttering a sound. All of us already felt the absence of our mother, and we just barely been separated. This is going to be hell for us...all of us. The younger states fell asleep, along with some of the older ones. I couldn't sleep, however. I'll just power through another sleepless night.

~the next morning~

I got up, not getting an ounce of sleep. I decided to head down and grab some breakfast. It was awkwardly quiet and very tense. So tense you can cut the air with a knife and hold onto that piece. Fortunately enough the others started waking up and coming down for breakfast. The foreigner served us breakfast, and most of us just stared at it. Oh great, this is gonna be fun!

"Ummm are those bell peppers?! Cause I don't like them"

"I-i'm allergic to e-eggs..."

"WHERE THE FUCK IS THE CHILE IN THIS HOUSE!!" the others started raising their concerns. I smirked a bit, amused.

"Where's the sauce? And not that tangy stuff dad has! Unless we in Louisiana. You got Louisiana hot sauce Pakistan?"

"Does this have meat? Cause I can't eat meat."

"You're vegetarian now?!" I asked Sinaloa.

"Yes, I am. I am offended, I've been one for the last month and a half."

"Surprised you lasted that long."

"Hey, Jalisco 10 bucks she won't last another month."

"You're on Nar."

"Do you have chocolate milk? I can't eat without my chocolate milk."

"THIS HOUSE HAS NO COCA COLA!! HOW DO YOU, LIVE WOMAN?!"

"Ewww I found onions in my food. Bleh, I don't like onions."

'I WANT PANCAKES!!!" The poor woman looked overwhelmed. Wonder when dad is going to, oh there he is.

"If you kids don't want your behinds whooped 1980's style I suggest you can it." Most of the states shut their mouths. While the others continued to whine. No one ate, however. Some of the younger ones picked their food, but they didn't eat. I just grabbed an apple and ate it, tossing some to the older ones who asked for some.

"Eat it, kids."

"Not hungry" everyone replied at the same time and left. I just snuck some fruit for the younger ones, who would whine in a bit that they were hungry. I gave it to them as we all headed over to our rooms.

"Jali I'm still hungry."

"I'll buy you breakfast later Alright? I gotta buy some things anyway. Hear eat this pear meanwhile. Should last you for half an hour."

"But I don't like peeeeeaars..."

"You want my peach instead?"

"Yes! Gimme, gimme!" I smiled and gave her the peach, while I ate the pear. After an hour or so I took the younger states out for breakfast. They're not used to eating less like us whenever times were tough. Wonder if dad knows where I am? Probably not, oh well. I headed over to the store, ignoring the weird glares of the people. Geez, these people have more of a staring problem then back home. Anyways I bought what they needed, and headed back home. Once home I put all the food away. I walk around the house and checked on every state in and around the house. Oddly, the more I walked the house I get this very odd feeling like I am being eerily stalked. Especially through mirrors.

"There's nothing but me in the mirrors...There's nothing but me in the mirrors..."I quickly checked on the last states, before going back to my room. I still feel eery. I don't know who is doing this to me but whoever needs to stop! Maybe I'm just being paranoid. Yeah, that's it. I decide to pull up some videos to watch and distract myself.

"Find me..."

"Who are you?! Show yourself?!" I kept hearing laughter.

"Over here~!" I looked over to see it gone. "Nope over here~ You're too slow~!" I was slowly lead to my big dresser mirror. I stared in front of it until someone popped out from it. I jumped back, as the figure in the mirror laughed. "What's wrong? Afraid of your own reflection~?"

"W-who are you!?

"I am you~"

"n-no you're not! You don't even look like me!" she had red hair and blue eyes, even though I had green eyes and black hair.

"But we are the same, I promise. Just come closer..." Against my better judgment, I went closer, to the mirror. If you guessed by now, yes I regretted it. She snatched me into the mirror and took my place. Making me scream and panic for help.

"MAMA!! PAPÁ!!! GET ME OUT OF HERE!! GET ME OUT!"'

"Shhh shhh relax I'll be back later."

"What are you going to do?!"

"Enjoy your life before I go back to my crumby one."

"Your...crumby one?! For your information mine's more of a hell than yours." she scoffed.

"Honey trust me. You haven't seen mine." She said, leaving me in the mirror. I bang on the glass cursing at her to come back but she was already gone. So I cried.
