Pakistan's Pov

"Don't be scared Huma, the dead won't bite you. Besides, this is natural!"

"Yes, but they can be very rude! And scary!"

"That depends who you honor silly! You can only see those you honor! Unless your me, who are forced to see every spirit of their people, many who try to tell their family members how they'd died...who killed them...their hatred forever buried as you relive their death...and ask you to help them....but you know you can't....because there nothing you can do...." Maria had zoned out for a bit, before shaking her head and snapping out of it. "Don't mind my rambling. I'm going to get more marigolds." She smiled before heading off to buy more marigolds. I just looked at her a bit suspiciously. She must be hiding something. I was about to follow her, when Alfred called me over, probably overwhelmed with the baby again.

"Alfred...don't you feel something off with Maria?"

"Damn it I was going to ask you! But yes."

"What could be causing her to act like that? Is always like that on the Day of the Dead?"

"No, she's usually creepy this time of year."

"Wonder what's bothering her...maybe we should follow her!"

"Like the Scooby Doo gang?!"

"Yes. And please don't dress Sef as Scooby."

"I should've for Halloween -3-" I just rolled my eyes.

"C' mon, let's go look for her." Both of us starting walking around the town. This is the first time Maria let us come to Mexico for the Day of the Dead. We've asked her why she didn't let us before, but she would just say that we were always too busy and 'i didn't want to bother you all' or with 'you all might get creeped out by what you've seen", although Alfred called her out a bit on the last one. This time we didn't really give her a choice, but I don't really understand why she wouldn't bring us. Sure the skeletons hanging from everywhere and decorating everything is creepy, but the flowers and decorations are nice. "Look there she is! Let's go, Alfred! Alfred? Alfred?!" I turned around, to see him gone with Sef. Where did he go now?!

"Over here!" I look over to see Sef in a Sherlock Holmes costume.

"Really?!"

"Yes, Isn't he adorable?!" I facepalmed. I turned back around to see her leaving. I grabbed Alfred and we started to follow her, keeping a distance so she wouldn't see us. She started heading to a cemetery, humming a tune to herself as she smiled a bit albeit it looked sad. She waved her hand a bit, before a red mist of sorts floated around, changing the whole scenery into a darker, gloomier version of the cemetery. The sounds of crying can be heard, but it was unsure as to where it came from. She walked forward a bit, and immediately the scenery changed that into a beautiful temple. However, for some reason, it gave me chills down my spine. We hid behind a wall, to only see coffins. She approached the one in the middle, gently placing her hand on the glass before sighing.

"Hay de ti, Llorona. What Am I to do with you? It was just too much for you, wasn't it? You can't turn back time dear...no matter how much you wish you would..." Alfred walked out, and I tried to grab him to drag him back but I couldn't reach in time.

"Maria...." Maria turned around, frightened and trying to block his view of the coffin.

"Alfred you scared me! You're not supposed to be here..."

"And why the hell not?! What are you hiding from me and Huma?"

"Nothing! It's nothing you both need to worry about..." She subconsciously stepped back, forgetting that the casket was there and knocked it over. She turned around, scared. "O-oh no....nonononono....."
