Chapter 2-Mark

As soon as the plane started to fall all I could think about was Lexie, I turned around trying to find her. She was a couple rows behind me, I see her now as stunning as ever. I look into her eyes and I see fear, I just want to pull her close to me and tell her it's going to be okay but I can't. I shout her name as the back of the plane quickly slips away, carrying her with it. I turn to face the front when I black out. I wake up lying on the ground. Lexie. I have to find her. I stumble as I try to stand, I can hear Arizona screaming I don't see Lexie, I have to find her. I search around frantically I see Cristina helping Meredith up and try to stand up again this time Im stable. Cristina tells Arizona to shut up and she stops, i walk over to her to see if she's okay. "Arizona are you okay?" She nods but I can tell she's in pain. I have to find Lexie! I start to walk off looking for her when I hear something..is that metal clanging together? It is! I walk off with Meredith and Cristina. I look both left and right trying to find Lexie. We get to the rest of the plane. Under part of the wing is an arm with a seat belt hitting the piece of metal. That's her arm! "Lexie!" I hear myself say both relieved and panicked. I hurry over to her, oh God no. From her waist down is under the wing, I lay on my belly looking at her "Lexie, Lexie" she manages a small smile "I knew you'd show up" Meredith Asks me how she is, I turn to her saying "she's awake and responsive" that's what any doctor would say. But I know she's scared and in pain. I turn back to her "how you doing in there?" She smiles faintly and says "I'm-I'm great" She can make it I know she can! she's a fighter that's what I love about her. so I smile "that's a good girl, we're gonna get you outta here, okay?" she's smiles as she feels at least a little bit comforted and says "okay"

I stand up and brush the dirt off my knees. I let the fear and concern for her life show on my face "she's tachycardic and short of breath" Meredith nods and says "we have to find Derek" she's desperate to find the one she loves most, as was I. "Okay you know what? we've got Lexie so go. go find him" Cristina tells Meredith. I look at Lexie, she is now more afraid I can tell. I need to get her out of there. I look at Cristina as Meredith goes off, and say "we've gotta get her outta there." i try and catch my breath from running. Cristina takes a deep breath and tells me to pop it back in, I can tell it's her shoulder. I nod and put my hand on her shoulder and on the other. I'm about to push it back in when she tells me to wait, takes another deep breath then nods, I make sure I have the right spot and push as hard as I can. She screams right away and I hug her trying to make her feel better, she quiets down.
