I come out of the shower and grab the towel. I dry my hair off and then wrap it around my body. I can't stop thinking about what I'm going to say for my vows. 'I promise to love you no matter what'? he'll probably have some great speech planned out and I'll just be standing there and it won't mean hardly anything because I can't communicate.

My thoughts are interrupted by Mark holding my shoulder and looking at me a bit concerned. "Lexie? are you okay?"

I nod "Yeah I'm fine"

He looks into my eyes "I know you better then that, Lex"

I sigh and he pauses before asking "Do you not want to get married?"

He waits for my response eagerly

"Of course I do" I reach up and hold the his hand on my shoulder.

"Then what's wrong?" he looks into my eyes curiously

" I'm just really not sure what to say"

He looks confused "To who?"

I shrug "You"

This confuses him more "What? you mean our vows?"

I nod "Yeah. because I really just don't want it to be stupid because your good with words and-"

He puts his index finger up to my mouth and I stop.

"Okay, the only reason I'm good with words is because I speak what I feel. I speak from my heart" he puts his other hand on his chest "Even though I sound like a girl saying it" he puts his hands down and I smile

"You don't sound like a girl. but if you were, I would be a lesbian" I tease him raising my eyebrows and letting my towel slowly slip down

He raises his eyebrows and scans my body before looking into my eyes "Oh yeah?" he wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer. "Yeah" I whisper.

He pulls me in closer and I slip my arms around his neck as his lips meet mine, needless to say I know where this is going.

-4:00 Later that day-

I walk up the stone steps of city hall in a white knee-length sun dress. Mark walks next to me and holds my hand as we walk through the doors of the enormous building. I look around the room. The walls are marble, with matching pillars everywhere. The floor is a harsh grey stone and stretches out almost as far as I can see. A main desk is seated with four adults all in professional business suits. The ceiling is higher then I've ever seen which is pretty cool to see.

I squeeze Marks hand and he looks at me, smiling "Im gonna go freshen up" he nods as I let go of his hand and walk to the left side of the room where there is a woman's restroom. I push the door open to reveal a medium sized room with a couch in the middle. There are mirrors on either side of the walls that are about as tall as I am. I walk past it and into a longer room with stalls on either side. I turn sharply to my right and stand in front of a sink. I look in the mirror at my hair and makeup. I take out a tube of peach lip gloss from my small purse and twist the top off. I apply it on my lips until there is a thin layer of lip gloss covering my lips. I smile, twist the lid on and put it back in my purse. I straighten my dress and look at myself in the mirror, I look nervous. Except this is the best day of my life, I'm marrying Mark. I smile and look to see a petite woman on my left with long black hair who is staring at me with striking blue eyes. The corners of her lips turn up "Hello"

"Hi" I say back

"Are you getting married?"

I smile and nod "Yes"

She tilts her head "Do you love him?"

That's an odd question "Yes"

"Good i love weddings" she smiles back. "Have a nice day" she puts a strand of hair behind her ear and steps back

"You too" I say to her as she walks out of the ladies room. I turn back to the mirror and adjust my hair one last time and walk out as well.

When I walk back into the main hall Mark is waiting for me on a bench to my right. When he sees me he stands up and smiles "Ready?" I nod and smile back.

He starts walking straight across and I follow him. I think about my vows as I walk. I want it to be something he'll always remember. We walk into a smaller hallway with chairs by the walls and a door at the end of the hall. There are two people here already, an older couple. probably in their sixties they must be getting married too. Good for them. Mark sits down in a chair and I sit next to him. I look at him and smile, thinking about how handsome he is. He's wearing a nice shirt with a black suit jacket and dress pants. We decided that if we weren't going to have a big wedding we would still dress nice.

He looks at me "What?"

I smile "I was just thinking about how good you look in a suit. He smirks at that and holds my hand. A man and a woman, probably in their forties come out of the room beaming and holding hands as they walk passed. I watch them and smile thinking to myself 'That's going to be me in a couple minutes'

Fifteen minutes later I'm standing in the small room in front of a large desk, which a tall woman stands behind and speaks without looking down at her papers, you can tell she's done this many times. Im holding Mark's hands while looking into his eyes. As he speaks I about melt away

"I, Mark Eric Sloan, Take Alexandra Caroline Grey, to be my lawfully wedded wife. I promise to love you, to hold you and never to forsake you. I Promise to be there for you even when you think you don't need me. I promise to dry your tears, to hold your hand and to give you Reese's when it's that time of the month" I laugh a little bit and he smiles

"I promise to be yours and only yours for as long as I shall live"

I smile as he puts the beautiful diamond ring on my ring finger.

I take a deep breath "I, Alexandra Caroline Grey, take Mark Eric Sloan to be my Lawfully wedded husband. I promise to love you, to hold you and to never forsake you. I promise to be there, in sickness and in health. near or far I promise to always be with you. I promise to love you no matter what, even if you leave the toilet seat up."

He chuckles and I smile wider

I pick up the thick gold band and place it on his ring finger then hold both of his hands again.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss the bride"

Mark kisses me deeply and my whole body fills with sensation.

I'm married!! after a couple seconds he pulls back and hugs me. I hug him back tightly, I can't help but smile. Were interrupted by the minister asking if we would like a picture, I nod. Mark and I face the camera, hand in hand and smile as he takes the picture. He tells us he will send it to us and we walk out. I start to realize how tired I am from walking all day. Were half way down the hall when Mark lifts me up into his arms and holds me bridal style. I smile and put an arm around his neck. I kiss him on the cheek as he walks "I love you, Husband" I smile as I say it. "I love you too,Wife" he smiles to as we leave city hall, my life couldn't be any better.
