Tala wasn’t still talking to Jake. When he woke up that day he went down straight to her room to check up on her but he was surprised to see Theo in the living room.
“Let’s go” Tala pulled Theo completely ignoring Jake’s presence. Either Jake was still sleepy to react or he was just gobsmacked to see his cousin. He paused and pondered a bit. He knew what Tala was trying to pull so he decided he’ll give her the opposite reaction of what he is expected to have.

River’s head was on Matt’s lap while Jake was seated on the wing chair when Tala walked in the living room.
“How’s your day with Theo?” Jake asked.
“Great” she smiled.
“I sense a fight is about to happen” River said in her most awkward voice. She sat upright.
“Fight?” Jake laughed. He knows Tala is expecting him to be mad so he’s doing the exact opposite.
“Why are you still hanging out with that douche?” Matt asked.
“He’s not a douche, okay?” Tala snapped.
“So where did you guys go?” Jake asked still cool and calm.
“He showed me his yacht” Tala answered.
“You mean he showed you the yacht that his parents own?” Matt corrected.
“Why would my boss name their yacht after me?” she asked back.
“Are you kidding me?” Matt asked.
“Do I look like I’m kidding?” she asked back.
“Theo named his boat after you?” River asked to double check.
“Yup” she answered. Matt and River stared at Jake.
“I hope you weren’t sea sick” Jake told Tala.
“I wasn’t. Anyway I’m off to bed” Tala said as she walked to her room. Matt and River stared at Jake again.
“What’s going on exactly?” Matt asked.
