Loki, by chance, had stumbled into this world. He was planning to enter another one but his magic caught some interference and threw him into a large forest surrounded by bamboo. He tumbled onto the dirt and groaned in pain before getting up and dusting himself off. He threw the hood off of his cloak and looked around, unfamiliar with this environment. A loud chop was heard and Loki ducked out of the way as a bamboo shoot fell onto the ground. He looked to the side and saw a man with a bandana on his head standing where the bamboo shoot used to be. Loki noticed he was holding a thick metal blade that seemed to shape itself to a longer swordlike weapon.
"What the, how did an outsider get in here?" the man asked. Loki put his hands up to show he was friendly.
"Look, my magic just threw me in here, if you could point me to the nearest town, I'll be on my way," Loki said, taking a step back. First rule of diplomacy was to never start a fight. Plus, Loki wasn't looking forward to dying for real this time in an unknown land.
"Hm, I suppose the empress would like to meet the outsider," the man said, he still held onto his sword though. "I don't trust you to go by yourself so I'll take you there." Loki nodded, if he was going to train to fight Thanos, he'd need to stay alive. He just hoped this place wouldn't execute him for stepping foot onto their land. The man led Loki to a wooden boat set on the ground as he passed by his home and picked it up to throw it onto the road. Loki was impressed with how easily the man threw it. He figured this was no mortal world then. "Get on."
Loki did what he was told and got on, sitting down in the front to avoid being reprimanded by the man for sitting in the back. The man might have thought Loki would stab him in the back. Loki was startled as the boat lifted into the air. He leaned to the side and looked below to see the boat was being cradled by the earth. The earth pushed the boat forward, dropping as it left that spot and replaced the empty space in the front. Soon the boat was going at a fast speed. Loki was exhilarated. He'd never seen something like this before. He looked back to the man and laughed. Loki noticed the stance the man was taking. It was solid and stable, his arms moving back and forth to his side in a slow flowing movement.
"This is amazing!"
"Hah! You really are an outsider then," the man chuckled. He didn't stop moving his arms and Loki turned back around to see that they were approaching a large city. The city had architecture similar to what he had seen in his youth on Midgard. It reminded him of the Tang dynasty. He knew that was a long time ago though before he was even born. As the city neared, he noticed buildings resembling Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, Korean, Filipino, etc architecture. Instead of looking old as it would have on Midgard though, the buildings seemed only decades old compared to the centuries. The boat stopped as Loki entered the town square and the man hopped off, motioning him to get off. "Come on, we'll have to walk to the palace now." The man picked up the boat and set it off to where other vehicles were placed. Loki walked behind the man, catching the glances of citizens in clothing better than the man in front of him.
"What do you do for a living?" Loki asked, now curious at how rough his attire was.
"I'm a blacksmith and a bamboo harvester," the man replied, not turning his back. He kept walking forward and waved to a few kids that ran by. Loki looked around a bit more as they walked, noticing that no one had been affected by the snap on this planet. He was curious as to why. He then looked in front of him and saw the large red palace looming over them. The man calmly walked up the stairs and guided Loki to the throne room. "Have fun, I have to get back to work," the man said, patting Loki on the back as the doors to the throne room closed. Loki looked up to see a woman adorned in a white robe with red markings. Her black hair flowed down as her brown eyes pierced into Loki.
