It'd been a few years since you started dating Loki, you meeting them on a distant planet and you convincing them to live with you on your ship to explore new worlds and stay for a while or immediately get chased out. It was exhilarating to say the least. Their mischievous antics usually went one way or the other on each planet, sometimes involving breaking out of a prison or getting showered with gifts. It never was just good or bad with them.

You kinda enjoyed it. The constant switch between the two was a lot more interesting than just sticking to one side and even then, you just were happy that you were beside them when these things happened. For today, it was a bad thing. Someone decided to start a fight with you in a bar and now you and Loki were brawling it out with some aliens who had some beef with you.

"So much for staying inconspicuous!" you laughed as you knocked a guy out.

"Just had to say that, didn't you?" Loki yelled, dodging a punch, they were distracted by you in the moment and brought back to their thoughts as another drinker yelled out. You couldn't help but chortle, ducking down as a punch was thrown at you and sweeping the girl's foot, having her land on her back. You picked up a chair and smashed it on the next person who came at you, while Loki brawled with another.

"We should get out of here!" you said, swiping a drink from the bar. The bartender sighed and grinned as you tossed him a bag of cash to pay for the damages. While you were distracted, a man went to smash a chair on your head to where Loki dashed in quickly and kicked him back. Loki caught the chair midair as it fell from the man's hands and set it back in its spot.

"Do NOT hurt my lover," Loki snarled. They stepped on the man's chest on the way out and you followed beside them. Both of you approached your spaceship and the hatch opened with a hiss of air as it lowered down onto the ground. "Well, that could have most certainly have gone better," Loki grumbled. You handed them the drink you were holding and grinned at them. They gave you a confused look.

"For dealing with my bullshit," you smiled. "It smells like scotch so I'm guessing it is." Loki shrugged and downed the glass before throwing it out the hatch. An audible shatter was heard and you pursed your lips. "Ok, we could have kept that," you said.

"Excuse me? That glass has been used by many mouths in that bar, no thank you," Loki scoffed. "Besides," Loki smirked, they approached you and pulled you close. "We have enough glasses at home." You gave them a quiet laugh and kissed their nose before slipping out of their grasp. You sat in the pilot seat and pressed a button that closed the hatch with a release of air. Loki sat next to you and clipped on their seat belt, watching you press some buttons above you, the ship lifting up quickly. "So where to next?" they asked. You smirked as the ship surged forward with newfound speed.

"You'll find out," you replied. Loki showed immediate interest and leaned back in their seat. The ship then shot forward and passed through a jump point. You turned on the cloaking device for the ship and cruised to the next jump point. "This may take a bit," you admitted.

"Enough time to go on autopilot?" Loki asked.

"Can't do it while we're cloaked, don't wanna crash into any other ships," you sighed. Loki pouted for a moment and unbuckled their seatbelt and grabbed something to eat. "When are you gonna get rid of that cube?" you asked. "The sooner we get rid of it, we won't have to be cloaked all the time."

"You know getting rid of an infinity stone isn't that easy," Loki said. "Plus the power's pretty useful and I know how to handle it."

"When I found you on that deserted planet all those years ago with that cube in your hand, all bruised up and starving like you were running away, we've been hiding from Thanos ever since." An audible crunch was heard from Loki as they ate a yaro root from the mini fridge.
