As soon as Loki grabbed your hand, you use a small gust of air to lift him up onto the tree. His eyes widened for a moment in surprise, the moonlight gleaming off of his green eyes. It was mesmerising to look at, you'd never seen green eyes like this before. You knew there were people on your planet that would have blue or green eyes every now and then but even then, looking into his emerald eyes just for a moment enthralled you. Loki cleared his throat and brought you out of the trance. You blinked and began to climb up the tree even higher, poking your head out at the top and resting your legs on a crook, leaving enough room for Loki to join you. You heard rustling as Loki poked his head through the branches, a bed of cherry blossoms surrounding his neck. He pulled himself up and took a seat next to you, his hands folded on his lap. After a few moments of silence, Loki spoke up.

"It's very beautiful here," Loki said quietly. "I didn't think a place like this existed."

"Well, my planet is full of surprises," you smiled. "I haven't been able to explore much of it unfortunately, I'm kinda... stuck here." Loki smirked and pounced on the opportunity. He unfolded his hands and turned towards you, holding a hand out. His hand then showed multiple worlds that you never saw before, they were colourful and seemed to be moving from a person's perspective. Perhaps these were his memories when he visited those places. Loki parted his lips after the magic in his hand faded away.

"What if... you came with me when I left?" Loki said. You quirked a brow at him and pursed your lips. "I could show you so many more worlds than this one."

"Aren't you going to fight Thanos once you leave this universe?" you asked. "I can't put my life at risk knowing that once I enter that universe I might be annihilated by the infinity stones."

"That won't happen unless the snap happens again," Loki assured.

"How do you know that?" you murmured. Loki fell silent and looked down at his lap. It was true, he didn't know that, he was merely hoping that he could take you with him. He took a deep sigh and let it out.

"I don't," he replied. Loki looked at you with concern, unsure on how you would react. You let out a huff of annoyance through your nose and adjusted your hair for a moment before taking Loki's hand.

"I really hope you're right," you squeezed his hand and gave a small smile. Loki's heart swelled and he thought this was the right time to tell you. "I have to ask something though..." you said. "Why are you asking me, of all people?" Loki pushed a strand of hair behind his ear and cleared his throat, a blue tint on his cheeks.

"I..." Loki for once in his life wasn't sure how to say this. The fling he had with the Grandmaster wasn't full of romantic love so this was... new for him. Or at least something he hadn't experienced in a while. He was going to have to be honest with you. He licked his lips and looked up at you, your brown eyes looking at him with an air of innocence and beauty. "I... have feelings for you," Loki said. You chortled for a moment before smiling and looking down towards the ground. Loki frowned and went to say something but was cutoff by you as you began to speak.

"Is it bad... if I have feelings for you as well?" you looked up to Loki, your hand still holding his. You gave him an awkward smile as he shook his head.

"No, that's... that's excellent," Loki replied, smiling as he spoke. He squeezed your hand this time and opened his mouth to speak but quickly shut it. His eyes darted towards yours and he attempted to speak again. "Is it alright if I..." his hands then cupped your face and your eyes closed shut before giving a quiet 'yeah'. He leaned in, eyes fluttering shut and kissed you softly. You smiled into the kiss. His lips felt cold but it wasn't uncomfortable. There's a slight warmth to them. Loki broke the kiss as he ran out of air and you opened your eyes. You smile again and cleared your throat, a red tint on your cheeks.

"Wow," you said. "That was really nice." Loki chuckled at how awkward you were and you chuckled as well. You got up and hopped off of the tree, cushioning the fall with air and Loki jumped down to meet you. You sat down on the shore near the still water and sighed. "When are you planning on leaving?"

"You mean we," Loki smirked. You didn't reply and looked out onto the water. He sat down next to you and took your hand again. "I'm leaving next week." You looked down and then looked towards Loki. He looked beautiful in the moonlight. His raven hair shone, his cheekbones were defined under the shadows, his pale skin contrasting against his eyes. He looked different from everyone else. Of course he did. His features were one that only otherworlders had. You met other handsome men in your life, even dated them, but you were intrigued by this man. How could you not be? He was new, he represented adventure, and he even offered to take you along to see new worlds. You leaned back on your hands and closed your eyes, taking in the sounds of the place you called home.

"I'll have to talk to my mother about giving up the throne and giving it to Wen, I didn't really want to be emperor," you said. "I'd rather explore with you," you smiled at him. While you only knew this man for a few weeks, you figured it'd be nice to know him more on the adventures you two would have. Loki grinned before leaning forward and kissed your forehead. He gave a contented sigh and parted his lips.

"I'm looking forward to that."
