The crowd was looking at Harry with confused gazes, until Neville's loud clapping scared them to reaction. Harry swallowed hard and gently handed the sorting hat back to his proffesor before making his way to the Hufflepuff table. He stared at his dusty converse as he walked and took a seat far away from the other students. Eyes drilled into Harry's head and he turned around to see Draco looking at him. Surprisingly enough Draco didn't seem to be aware of the fact that he was looking at Harry. It appeared as if the other boy was lost in thought.   Draco turned away from Harry Potter and looked around the remaining first years with concern. Harry wondered if he was looking for someone, but then again who would Draco be looking for? He turned back to look at the food on the table and sighed.
Up at the staff table Albus Dumbledore watched as Harry nibbled on a piece of ham with a dissapointed look. The boy frowned and left his plate full to talk to another student for a minute before making his way out of the great hall. What was he up to?

Harry walked quietly through the halls, unaware of the fact that  many eyes were following him through portrait form. He didn't know that he was the first student to leave the great hall during the opening feast, nor that this sudden decision would surely cause problems in the future. He walked purposefully up flights of stairs, unbeknownst to the echoing footsteps behind him. His class schedule was shoved in his pocket so he didn't plan to return that night. He wouldn't hear whatever speach the Headmaster had planned, nor did he care to. He just walked. Past rows of portraits that told him to return to supper, which he ignored. Harry walked until he found the corridor that Cedric had told him to follow, and then he walked up the stairs towards the owlery. He hesitated a moment at the door of the staircase before heading out into the cold. He climbed the stairs, lost in thought, still unaware of the person following him until he reached the room that held all the owls.

Draco peeked around the corner watching Harry who stood in the middle of the owlery. The boy shivered slightly in his thin shirt and craned his head back to look at the tower ceiling above.
'What's he doing?' Draco asked himself silently.
"Hedwig!" Harry called out, his eyes closed. "Come here girl!"
Draco watched as a snowy white owl flew down and landed on Harry's arm. Harry smiled and gently petted the owl's feathers lovingly.
"Good girl," He cooed.
Draco stepped forward to watch more clearly as Harry reached into his pocket. Draco tensed thinking he had been caught but Harry pulled out a slice of ham. To Draco this was the most vulgar thing; Keeping meat in your pants! He scrunched his nose in distaste as Harry fed little bites of the meal to the owl who cooed thankfully. Draco frowned. Perhaps he should have brought his own owl food as well. Then he shook his head.
'That is too Hufflepuff to be thinking' he mentally scolded himself.
Harry sat down on the cold stone and let Hedwig sit on his shoe.
"I got into Hufflepuff, Hed" he said softly, as if she could understand what he said.
Draco's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he eavesdropped.
"It's exactly what I wanted," Harry smiled sadly "Still I wish Cay was here to be with me. I miss them."
'K? What kind of name is that?' Draco thought, though his mind felt as if he should be remembering something he honestly didnt know what. .
"Do you think I will get to go back? Dumbledore wouldn't try to keep me from him would he? He is my brother after all." Harry spoke obliviously,
'Harry Potter has a brother?' Draco thought, his eyes widening in shock 'that is quite the scandal. Keeping one chikd hidden in favor of the other? Why it's almost awful. Of course saint Potter would want to keep his brother from stealing the spotlight. I mean look at him! He thought he was too good to even sit with his house mates!'
Harry sighed and leaned back on his hands.
"I'm worried, Hed." He admitted "I'm worried I will have to go back to the Dursley's. I told you about them remember? Meanest muggles in the world if there ever were any!"
'Muggles?'
"God!" Harry angrily punched the ground, a scorch mark surrounding his fist "I hate them!"
Draco frowned, suddenly confused.
'Why would Harry Potter hate muggles? It doesnt make any sense!'
Harry's owl ruffled her feathers and Harry smiled sheepishly.
"You're right. I'm sorry. I shouldn't lose control like that." He said, lifting up his hand and staring at it "I need to control it."
Draco swallowed hard, his nerves were on fire and he was suddenly afraid. Draco turned and ran back into the castle. Harry turned his head sharply to stare at the door way with suspicious eyes. He got up, moving Hedwig to his arm and walked to the archway. Harry looked around and frowned. Was someone watching him? He petted hedwig thoughtfully before silently heading back to the great hall to meet with Cedric as planned.

Draco watched Harry pass with his bird on his arm and tucked himself further into the corner he had hidden behind. He waited until he could no longer hear Harry's eerily quiet footsteps before going back up to the owlery. He looked around, unaware as to what he was looking for or even why he hadn't gone back to the great hall when he had the chance. Draco frowned as he saw that nothing had been left behind. A feather fell from a bird nearby and he watched it gently fall through the air to land on the ground. Draco walked to pick it up but stopped as something caught his eye. He gasped as he saw a black burn mark etched into the ground like lightning.
"What the fuck?"
