The Boy Who Wanted to Live

"I thought you had him?"

Hannah looked around the great hall with a frown. Harry had said that he would be right back but he'd been gone for nearly ten minutes now! With an annoyed sigh she walked over to the Gryffindor table and saw Neville happily eating lemon custard and talking to a boy named Dean about something his grandmother sent him in the mail. 

"Neville I think you've got a shadow" Dean called from across the table. 

Neville turned around and Hannah's face grew pink as his brown eyes fell on hers. 

"Hannah? What's up?" Neville asked casually.

"uh..uh..." 

"Come on, Neville, what's your girlfriend want?" another boy said, causing Hannah to squeak loudly and become almost as red as the Weasley's hair. 

"Hannah?" Neville asked, also blushing slightly at theobvious teasing the other boys were doing. 

"HaveyouseenHarryanywhere?" She asked in a rushed breath. 

"What?" Neville asked the chubby brown haired girl, a confused expression on his face. 

"Have you seen Harry anywhere?" She said again. 

"What? I thought you had him?" Neville said, not quite understanding what Hannah was asking. 

Hannah sighed and sat down next to the chubby boy and laid her head on the table. 

"I did, but he said he'd be back and took off! But it's been too long to be 'right back'" she explained, "I thought he might've come here" 

"Nope" Several kids around them, who had forgot they were eavesdropping, said "Not here" 

She groaned and sat up, picking up a piece of chicken slowly eating it. Hannah looked around the hall in search of the delicate boy. Several faces caught her attention but none were Harry Potter. In her search she noticed three more people missing as well. 

"Where's Ron?" She asked "Hermione?" 

"I think-"

"TROLL! TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!"
