Harry entered Dumbledore's office with a polite smile set in place. The old wizard turned to the soft click of a closing door and gestured widely with his arm.
"Ah, Harry, come in my boy," he said kindly watching as Harry proudly walked towards him, the closer the boy came however the more he revealed his true self.
By the time Harry had made it to the old man's desk he was hunched over gasping softly.
"I don't know if I can do this anymore professor," he said with a broken voice.
"Harry, dear boy, you remember what we all discussed at our last meeting, you, Newt and I?" Dumbledore said sympathetically.
"I know it's hard-"Do you?" Harry cut off, looking up with tears in his eyes "Do you know how exhausting it is running around disguised as someone else half the time? Do you know how many rules and secrets and details I have to remember to make sure no one finds out? You weren't even supposed to know and you found out after six months! How am I supposed to keep this up for another six years?"
"Harry if you want to stop we can, just remove him as your guardian and you can return to your aunt-"No!" Harry said angrily, heat filling his fists and scorching the chair beneath his fingertips.
"Harry becoming Caleb Scamander is the only way for you to have a normal childhood, without the press ruining it constantly," Dumbledore said softly, "I understand your concerns and they are valid. I know how hard this is for you but it has always been my goal to provide you with a chance at a normal life. That's why I sent you to the muggle world to begin with,"
"Yeah and look how well that turned out," Harry said sitting down and sighing.
"It's just for another two weeks and then summer vacation is coming and you can finally relax."
Harry nodded and rubbed the back of his head.
"Relax and train with Newt, Relax and see a doctor every week for my problems,"
The old man sighed softly and placed a hand on Harry's shoulder.
"I understand your concern but it is for the best," he said softly "but this does bring up a fine point, dear boy,"
"And what's that?" Harry said tiredly.
"Due to the specific circumstances, the privacy of your home affairs mostly, I am afraid that you will have to return to Private Drive for the first and last week of every summer," Dumbledore said plainly "otherwise we risk the chance of Voldemort finding you, your mothers love protect-"yes yes blood protection and all that," Harry cut off with a small cough "do what you must but I am going home you do understand that?"
"Of course Harry," Dumbledore said trying to keep the boy pleased "you can return to Scamander Manor as soon as possible,"
Harry nodded and sighed, his hands cooling significantly and the fuzz in his mind fading.
"Remember Harry it is imperative to keep your emotions under control, your problems are caused by strong emotions. Therefore I am going to have Professor Snape start tutoring you in the art of Occlumency. That's a fancy word of saying control,"
Harry yawned and rubbed his eyes before nodding and standing up.
"Thank you for your kindness Professor," he said the polite mask falling back into place "I should go to madam Pomfrey for some Pepper Up potion, it's been doing wonders since you first suggested it."
Dumbledore nodded and smiled.
"Thank you for your cooperation Harry, I will see you at breakfast I suppose,"
Harry nodded and dismissed himself from the room for the evening.
