D-day was finally here. Auditions. It was finally time for everyone to show what they had. Mark took his seat on the ground next to Jaebum, Yugyeom, and Youngjae of course. Butterflies filled his stomach, he couldn't help but be nervous. Across from them sat Jackson and Bambam. Mark couldn't help but stare at Jackson intriguingly. How good is he? Did he prepare for this? Mark couldn't help but wonder. Jackson turned his head and looked back, making eye contact with Mark. Flustered, Mark immediately turned away, pretending that he was scanning the room instead.

The auditions took place knockout style. A group of seven would begin and perform the routine that everyone had been practicing. After the routine ends in about a minute and a half, the panel of judges call out the names that will remain. If your name is not called you are eliminated from the audition. After they call up as many people as they need to join those who lasted the round, to make the next group of seven and repeat the process until the judges have a group of seven they are satisfied with, they reach the last contestant(s) standing, or worse case, no one remains. What was even more intimidating is that you never knew when it would be your turn. The judges call out random names, so you're on your toes from the moment it starts to the moment it ends.

Before Mark even sunk in what was happening, the auditions started. "Begin," the instructor calmly stated as the music hit. Seven boys began to dance the routine.

"Oh no he used the wrong foot he'll definitely be out," Jaebum whispered. Mark and JB carefully analyzed the first seven students auditioning. Some of them were very good, others not so much. Before he knew it, the first round was over.

"Park Jinyoung please remain." Of all seven of the starting students, only one remained. He was a handsome fellow who was light on his feet. He gave off a very focused and serious demeanor. Now that was competition.

"Unlucky draw for such a talented guy," Mark thought. He would have to repeat the routine over and over until he got out, or survived to the end.

"Im Jaebum and Choi Youngjae please come up!" JB and Youngjae were two of the names called to join Park Jinyoung. The music began. Mark silently pleaded, hoping that his two friends would do perfect and make it. Mark watches as both of his friends remained focused and effortlessly performed the routine. Mark had a good feeling they would make the next group.

"Park Jinyoung, Im Jaebum, and Choi Youngjae please remain." JB and Youngjae had made the next round! Mark smiled as the eliminated four contestants took their seats.

"Kim Yugyeom and Kunpimook Bhuwakul!" Yugyeom and Bambam joined the next round. Yugyeom's amazing dancing skills immediately made him shine just as Mark expected. Bambam took him by surprise, however. Though he might not have been the best dancer, he was good and he oozed charisma. Mark could see why he was competition. Mark remained seated as more and more students were called up. Bambam, Yugyeom, JB, Jinyoung, and Youngjae continued to outlast the competition, putting a smile on his face until he realized who the final two students were. Before he could even react, it was time for the final round.

"Mark Tuan and Jackson Wang please take to the center." Mark and Jackson, the final two students, would be finally taking the floor.
