"Sorry Teacher, Jackson isn't coming to practice again. His flu has just gotten worse," Bambam apologized, bowing to the group's dance teacher.
"I see...hopefully he's better soon. It's a shame. Mark, you've been doing absolutely amazing. I'm glad to see you and Jackson have worked hard to improve," the instructor remarked.
Mark looked down in guilt. "Bullshit," Mark thought. How could Jackson be so sick? He was fine when they had gotten into their fight three days ago. And if that was the case Bambam should be sick too, he shares a room with the guy. Guilt was all that tore at him, and Jackson was the only thing that had been on his mind, amplifying his guilt.
Jackson hasn't left his room at the dorm since Mark rejected him. After their little altercation, he went back to the dorm, crying probably the hardest he has in his entire life. This was quite the culture shock to everyone, considering the cocky, mighty Jackson Wang was crying. For Jackson's sake, JB didn't dare to say that Mark had confessed his feelings about Jackson to him. It would only break the younger's heart even more. JB was in disbelief at the entire situation. Why would Mark do this to Jackson? To say JB was disappointed in Mark was an understatement, and Bambam felt the same. At this point, all of the group knew about Jackson's feelings now and they did the best to cheer him up but they failed. They were all disappointed and somewhat mad at Mark. If he had just taken a chance and listened to his heart, this all could have been avoided.
But it was no use. Jackson locked himself in his and Bambam's room, never coming out unless to use the bathroom, which he usually did when the members were out of the dorm. He didn't want anyone to see him so broken and beaten. He was so embarrassed about the situation. He didn't think it would hurt this bad to be rejected by Mark. Bambam would bring him food, but he barely touched it. He was too heartbroken to eat. There was no one, and nothing that could fix the immense pain Jackson was feeling because of Mark. All he did all day was cry, sulk and stay in bed. It was the saddest and most emotional anyone had ever seen Jackson in his life. Jackson only allowed his best friend to see him like this because he was so vulnerable and he hated it. But as mad as he wanted to be at Mark, he couldn't because he loved him too much, which only made him hurt even more.
JB started ignoring Mark, which only made Mark feel more guilty and worse about the entire situation. He knew this was all his fault but he tried to justify his actions. "All we do is hurt each other whether we're friends or not...it was better when we didn't know each other. At least this way we won't hurt each other or the group." This is what he constantly told himself. No matter how much he said it though, Mark felt bad. He said this but knew he and Jackson hurt each other. He cried himself to sleep more than once. Admittedly, JB wanted to comfort him but knew Mark needed time to reflect on his actions, and realize how wrong he was and the trouble he had started. At the same time though, he also had a plan he had been plotting to fix the mess Mark had created.
After dance practice ended, all the members returned to the dorm. Mark went to his room and Jackson, of course, was locked in his own room. "We need to get them back together," Youngjae confessed.
"We need to get them together. That's the only way to fix this," Jinyoung stated.
"Hyungs are always so sad all the time, I hate this," Yugyeom cried out in frustration.
"We need to fix this JB...but how?" Bambam asked.
"We're gonna get Mark to see the error in his ways...trust me I've already started the process. Mark likes Jackson. He told me a few days ago. I don't know why the idiot would reject Jackson but we're gonna fix all of this," JB admitted. He then told the members his plan and waited to execute it. Everyone was hoping for a miracle to come that would fix everything an take all the heartbreak away.
