Chapter 22: GOT7

Jackson and Mark repeatedly exchanged sweet nothings and kisses for just about an hour before getting up together to get something to eat. They walked out of Jackson's room, hands connected, fingers intertwined. They reached the living room, connected to the kitchen. Their other five members were on the couch watching TV. They knew the others were probably dying to see if the two had come back together and being honest, Mark and Jackson were excited to see their reactions to their announcement as a new couple. Yugyeom was the first to notice Jackson and Mark enter the room. "Oh...is that what I think--" he began to say. Mark looked down and blushed, Jackson confidently nodded. 

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Yugyeom suddenly shrieked, causing all the members to jump from their seats. They turned their attention to the Markson couple, who made it obvious they had reconciled. Jackson kissed Mark's cheek in front of all the members. The five others began screaming and rejoicing in hymns of "Ahh's" and inhumane shouting. It was definitely clear that Mark and Jackson weren't the only ones who were happy they ended up together.

Jackson took Mark's hand that he was holding and brought it to his lips, kissing it softly. "So yeah. Mark and I are official guys...we are dating," Jackson told the others. 

Jinyoung, Jaebum, Youngjae, Yugyeom, and Bambam all put their hands together and began jumping in a circle surrounding the Markson couple. Mark and Jackson laughed hysterically at their friends' antics, Mark still red from embarrassment. Jackson was eating up all the attention they were getting from their friends. Mark? Not so much.

"I'm happy for the two of you," Jaebum said to the new couple. "You deserve each other." 

Mark hugged his best friend thanking him. "Thank you. Unless you talked sense into me this wouldn't be happening right now. Actually...thanks to all of you. I don't know what I'd do with all of you," Mark softly announced to his friends. Jackson came behind him and grabbed the elder in a back hug. 

"Yeah, thank you, guys...for clearing up this idiot's head," he teased smacking Mark's head. The seven boys all laughed in unison and smiled at each other before a knock at the door surprised them.

Jackson let go of Mark fearing who was at the door. They could still potentially get in trouble since they were technically breaking the no dating rule. Even if they were dating each other, they didn't know how the company would react, or if they would even allow it in the first place. Better to be safe than sorry. JB answered the knock and their manager quickly came bursting through the door. "Boys I just stopped by to let you know the good news in person." The boys all furrowed their brows at their manager.

Their manager then let them know the exciting news. "Your debut song and choreography is ready and you are going to start preparing very soon! Until then I am proud to announce that the seven of you will form JYP's newest boy group...GOT7!" The seven boys all embraced each other in excitement. Jackson's eyes met his boyfriend's and they cheered. This day would go down in history. Not only did Mark start dating Jackson they found out the name of their group. Mark's dreams were all coming true one by one and he couldn't be happier. The other members all seemed to be at the same place. Things were looking up for everyone, and GOT7 was united and stronger than ever.
