Y/N POV

Today is the first day of class for me, and I can honestly say that I really like Miami Prep. There's so many cool things about it besides soccer. People are nice here, the girls are all breathtakingly beautiful, and I haven't gotten in a fight yet. I only have two more classes left before lunch, homeroom and biology. I walk into my homeroom and see Shawn, I decide to go sit at his table. We get to talking and then two other guys come up to us. Shawn introduces me to Cameron Dallas and Austin Mahone. They are the co captains of the Miami Prep Lions. Cameron is a cool guy, Austin on the other hand seems a little too conceited, nothing I can't handle though. I'm the best. Then that's when she walks in.

I see Austin get this creepy smile on his face as he checks her out. Once Camila sees me she smiles at us and says hi, specifically to me I see Austin glaring at me from my peripheral vision but I say nothing about it. Then the conversation goes towards soccer, I take it as my chance to ask the guys if I can try out. Cameron says yes but Austin says no, I was going to ask why but then the bell rang, signaling that it was time for the next class.

"Danny." I hear someone calling "my name" I notice it's Camila. God is really testing me here.
What's up Cabello?"

"Where are you headed?"

"Uhh biology it's the same teacher as our homeroom I just wanted to take a walk."

"Yay we have the same class let's walk together."

Great now I can't keep her at arms length. We get to the class and while she sits down at her station I go talk to the teacher. This is probably the only teacher I met and didn't like. Of course she tells me to go sit with Camila. I look up at the ceiling. Why are you testing me so fucking much? When I get to my seat Camila seems ecstatic that we are lab partners. How can I be mad seeing that beautiful smile.

We start talking, then I hear someone clear their throat, it had to be Austin.

"You're in my seat Denis."
"It's Daniel and no I'm not the teacher told me to sit here." He was getting ready to say something else when Dr. Smith interrupted him. "Mr. Mahone, you didn't show up yesterday, but I decided to move Camila from her seat since she and Ms. Hansen can't control themselves, now that the class is even you can have a partner go sit in Ms. Cabello's old spot."

"Oh come on why do I get stuck with Asstin."

I let out a laugh which in turn makes Camila giggle, we stop when Dr. Smith sends us a glare and threatens to separate us. We start our lab and have a conversation at the same time. I tell her that Austin doesn't seem to be fond of me and she laughs.

"Cameron wanted to give me a shot to try out for the soccer team but Austin said no."

"That's weird Austin is usually so nice."

Well of course he's nice to you he wants to bang you. I say in my head. I catch him looking at us with a scowl on his face, I decide to give him a reason to mad. I had seen Camila struggling to make an incision on our second frog, I was already done with the first one so I go over to her side to help her. I get super close to her and guide her hands with mine on how to cut the frog open. I look up and I give Austin my signature smirk. He's fuming and Dinah just shakes her head smiling at me and Camila. While I had done this to piss Austin off at first, I kinda like the way Camila's hands feels in mine so I just keep showing her the anatomy of the frog.

Camila POV

Daniel saw I was struggling to cut open the frog so he helped me. When he came to my side I thought he would just do it for me but he surprised me by leading my hands with his. Once the first incision is made I feel eyes on me. Austin is looking at us and he seems angry. Dinah is also looking but she's giving me a teasing smile, I turn my attention back on the frog. Daniel still has his hands on mine, he's explaining something about a spleen but I'm focused on how soft his hands are. Almost as soft as a girl's hand, stop thinking about girl hands Camila you are straight. I think I may have a small crush on Daniel. We keep working on my frog until the bell rings for lunch. I decide to ask Austin why he won't give Daniel a chance.

"Hey Camilla what brings you to my table?" Wow he doesn't know how to say my name? I've known him for years. Maybe he is a deuche.
"I just wanted to ask you something in private"
"Let's go to my room then." I have a bad feeling about this. He smiles in a creepy way but I decide to follow him because I want Daniel to get a chance at his passion. Just suck it up Camila, once we get to his room he starts talking.

"So what can I help you with Camilla?" I correct him this time.
"Its Camila, Austin and I was just wondering why you didn't let Daniel try out for the team"

"He isn't lion material babe." Why is this idiot calling me babe. Okay Camila relax let it slide, remember you're doing this for Daniel.

"Can you at least give him a chance?"

He thinks about it and he stands up from his bed getting closer to me and starts stroking my arm.
"Tell you what Camilla if you give me a little something I'll give him a try out." He says with his creeper smile.
"What do you mean a little something?"
"You know what I mean." He starts to lean in I back up and tell him no, yet he still tries to kiss me. I kick him in his junk and he looks up at me infuriated. I go to leave the room and in the middle of the empty dorm hallway he starts yelling at me gripping my wrist extra hard. He goes to kiss me again and I can't push him away anymore. He starts pulling me back towards his room when I hear someone scream for him to stop. the same person yanks me towards them.

Y/N POV

I have to go back to my dorm since I forgot my money in my room and can't buy lunch. The dorm is deserted at this time of the day, it was silence until I heard people arguing. I decided to ignore it until I heard a girl cry for help. I instantly took off to where the voice was coming from and that's when I saw Austin trying to force himself on a girl, As bad as this sounds I could spot that body from a mile away. It was Camila, I ran up to them and screamed at Austin to let her go, he looked up distracted I used that chance to pull Camila away from his grasp. I was asking if she was okay and then I felt him punch me from behind, so I turned around and we started fighting. I had the upper hand I was beating his head to the floor for disrespecting women, not just that but for Camila as well.

I felt her hand on my shoulder that's when I stopped to look at her. She told me that it was enough, I was going to continue hitting him but once I looked into those eyes everything else faded away. She said I needed the nurse and we just left Austin on the floor. She was crying silently on the way to the nurse's office. I got a glimpse of her wrists and saw they were bruised. I kept staring at them until I felt her hand lift my chin up to look at her. "I'm okay, I promise."

I asked her why she went to his room and when she told me the reason I felt my heart swell with joy and guilt at the same time. When we got to the nurse she sees my face and immediately calls Headmistress Lovato. Once Lovato gets here I know I'm screwed, she had warned me to stay out of trouble but I had to do this for Camila.

"GONZALEZ, what did I tell you?"

"To stay out of trouble."

"And you decide fighting is a good way to do that? What is my goddaughter doing here? I gave you two simple instruction stay out of trouble and away from Camila."

I wanted to speak up about what actually happened but Camila gave me a look and started talking. She told the headmistress that Austin was insulting her and when she tried to stand up for herself he grabbed her wrists and started screaming at her. She said that I was just walking by when I saw them and decided to help her, and that's when Austin started the fight.

Lovato was beside herself when she saw Camila's wrists and she called on her walkie talkie for anybody that sees Austin Mahone to bring him to the nurse immediately. When she looked at me again she nodded her head at me and thanked me for what I did.

Camila whispered in my ear to not tell her the whole story I couldn't say no to her. Not when she was already feeling bad.

The door opened and in came the soccer coach with Austin behind him, I felt my anger rise again but I feel Camila squeezing my hand and telling me that he isn't worth it. Lovato just looked at him for a second after that all hell broke loose.
