The Aftermath

The next three weeks went by miserably slow to y/n. She cut off all communication with Camila. She asked Dr. Smith to move her saying Camila was a distraction to "his" learning. She did end up fucking Victoria in her car to try and get her mind off things, that didn't help as "Daniel" now has a creepy stalker. She at least got to play soccer when the team wasn't using the field, she always felt eyes on her, they weren't her stalker's; they were Camila's she knew it was Camila watching her all the time.

Everyone just avoided y/n like the plague after Austin started a rumor that "Daniel" tried to steal Camila from him, so that's why they fought. Since Austin was the golden boy everyone made sure to steer clear of y/n. She can't believe Camila said nothing about the rumors Austin had made up, she just stayed quiet.
Y/n wasn't going to try to change anybody's mind, she was kinda glad Camila let the rumors spread because now she could stop feeling guilty. But she didn't She always thought about Camila crying when "Daniel" left her room.
Even her own roommate decided to give her the cold shoulder. The only friends she had were her friends back home. Y/n could not wait until her brother came back from California he was her best friend. Sure she felt bad that Mahone had ruined his reputation but once the twins were both on campus things would definitely change. Those two together spells trouble for Miami Prep.

Y/n wanted to be a good kid at first when she started school, but now she doesn't care anymore. She'll be joining her brother as his partner in crime again Daniel and y/n Gonzalez back at it again. Anybody who messed with either of them would would have hell to pay. He was supposed to come in tomorrow and she could not wait to make her official entrance as y/n Gonzalez. She had a clean slate and she was most definitely going to use it for two things

1. Get on the soccer team

2. Take care of an unsuspecting Austin Mahone

All of her problems would be solved when her brother arrives, except for one.

Camila Cabello

Even after weeks of completely ignoring her and her looks of longing and sadness, she was still on her mind constantly.Everywhere she went reminded of her, reminded of the petite brunette and she hated herself for it. She hated herself for falling for Camila knowing that she couldn't have her killed her inside. She has to forget about her and fast, she knows that. What she doesn't know is how she'll be able to manage to do it. Surely Camila will have questions for her once she and Daniel switch places. She knows Camila isn't dumb. Y/n decides she won't talk to her even if she does approach her, she doesn't want to be broken twice.

Camila cleared up the rumor a few days ago and some people were trying to talk to "Daniel" but she just told them to fuck off. She only needed her brother who would be here soon. Camila even apologized for letting the rumor spread, y/n just shook her head at her and walked away.

Remember Gonzalez there is only one thing that should matter in your life and it shouldn't be Camila Cabello. The one thing that brings you happiness that is what she wanted to focus on from now on.

Camila wasn't doing much better. She was devastated when "Daniel" rejected her. She had a feeling the night he walked out of her room was the night he would walk out of her life. She had hoped with every fiber in her being that it wouldn't be true. Deep down she knew it was though. She didn't see "Daniel" the rest of that week. When he did finally show she was happy that she finally got a chance to talk to him, but once again he walked right past her into his new seat with his new partner. Victoria Justice. That was all the conformation she needed to finally understand Daniel would no longer be a part of her life.

In those next weeks Austin came back from his suspension and started a rumor that, Daniel stole her from him. She just let him spread rumors. She felt bad when nobody would talk to Daniel, she only saw him doing two things. It was either in class, or playing soccer at night. When he would play she would watch him from a distance contemplating if she should talk to him. She never did.

All her friends saw the change in her, they just knew Daniel broke her heart when she came crying to them just sobbing his name. They hated that boy with a passion, they were going to plan something against him but Austin had already done his worst.

Camila was just all around sad she focused on school and her music, Daniel gave her a reason to write songs so that's what she did. Her godmother saw this change in her as well, she asked Camila over and over again what was wrong; Camila never responded Daniel didn't need the headmistress on his case and she knew that. She had never felt so lonely.

She felt for Daniel as well since he was actually alone he didn't have any friends he had it worse but she was too scared to go up to him. Hopefully he makes some friends soon. She decides she's going to clear up the rumor that Austin created.

She cleared the rumor up but Daniel had changed, people would try to be friendly and he would just tell them off. She had the courage to walk up to him and apologize about the rumor, he just shook his head and walked away from her with a sad smile.
