So aftermath chapters are always gonna be in the third person. They're basically the thoughts of Camila and y/n after a significant event.

Matthew Hussey was no longer an issue for y/n Gonzalez. The only issue she has now is trying to get over someone that was never hers. She hasn't seen Camila since she slapped her. That was three days ago. No matter how much she tried to forget about Camila she always worried about her. Y/n has decided to put all her anger and sadness into the only thing she should care about. On Sunday she completely destroyed the opposing team. It was 7-0 and she scored all seven of them. She of course opted out of the celebration party. It was Monday today, but she knew she wouldn't be seeing Camila in class anymore. She had asked the headmistress to switch her classes. The only class that she wasn't able to change was homeroom, but she implemented a new rule, now all athletes an be excused from homeroom for training. School went by fast that day for her. She had no distractions in any of her classes anymore so she actually did her work. When homeroom came around she went straight to the soccer field. She had a protein shake for lunch and kept kicking the ball.

Her brother wasn't even around for her. It was weird because the twins were the best of friends, yet neither of them had spoken since the party. The only friend she had was Kendall, she was always willing to talk. When the official practice ended that meant the day was over for y/n. She had  quick shower and she was ready to take a good nap. Her plans were ruined once she opened the door to her room. When she walked in she immediately made eye contact with those eyes she has tried hard to forget this weekend. Y/n just put her soccer bag on her bed, grabbed her keys, and took off.

She decided to go to her dad's house instead of the beach house. That way nobody but her brother would find her. She went up to her room and she was drowsing off until she heard a knock at her door. She grabbed her sweats and put those on she was ready to go off on whoever interrupted her sleep. She was about to say something smart but the girl at the door took her breath away.

Camila on the other hand focused her sadness on her music.  Her godmother had raided her movie date at Matthew's house and had him arrested in five minutes. Camila was mad at first, she even screamed at Demi for doing what she did, until her godmother showed her something that changed everything. They had proof against Matthew for drugging y/n and being a child predator. Not only that, once they were finished at the police station Demi pulled another piece of evidence for Camila's eyes. It was a conversation where Matthew and Austin planned for Austin to force himself on Camila so Matthew could 'save her' y/n was telling the truth.

She felt so dumb for not believing y/n. She wanted to apologize, but she wanted to do it in person. So she didn't try calling or texting, she would wait until she saw her in person. The lions had a game the next day y/n killed it she dominated the other team and scored 7 goals. Camila went to the celebration party, but was disappointed that y/n didn't show up. She would have to wait until Monday to talk to her.

Monday came but y/n didn't show up to homeroom. Camila thought she would see her in biology, but y/n didn't show up either. She wondered why, but when Dr. Smith called attendance y/n's name was no longer on the roster. She had one last hope to talk to y/n today. She suggested to the girls that they should hang out in Lauren's room. Camila knew when soccer practice ended, so she was expecting y/n at a certain time. Sure enough she got to her room at about the estimated time. When she locked eyes with that perfect mixture of blue and green her heart dropped. Y/n looked like she hadn't slept in a whole week. Camila went to say something but before she knew it y/n was already gone.

Camila went to see her godmother to ask why y/n's schedule was changed. Demi told her that they had made a deal, in exchange for the evidence against Matthew y/n wanted a complete new schedule. She also said she made sure the homeroom stayed the same so Camila could have aa chance to apologize on Friday, which was the only day athletes were required to be at homeroom. Her godmother was still disappointed in her and even admitted to seeing her slap y/n.

Camila was walking to her room thinking of a way to fix her mistakes. She was going to need something amazing for treating y/n the way she did.
