Hi I sorry I haven't been updating lately. I'm slowly recovering from surgery. Now that I am starting to feel better. I feel like writing. In this story, Minnie tells a young Oswald, that vampires cannot eat chocolate because they'll die as a joke. So with that idea in mind, Oswald decides to make chocolates for Mickey in hopes of ridding himself of the vampire. But things don't go according to plan. Enjoy!

Oswald was flipping through a large blood red colored book on his lap that had pulled from Minnie's study. He currently reading about vampires and their weakness, yet as he as went on reading, Oswald realized that book wasn't telling anything he didn't already know. After a few minutes of useless information, Oswald closed the book and leaned back against the couch.

"Ozzy, Ortensia said dinner is almost ready, so can you help set the table please?" Minnie beamed as she trotted excitedly into the room. Oswald sighed but smiled at his older sister's antics. It had only been months since he was brought to Minnie and Ortensia's house after his parents died and Oswald still found it difficult to get used to the girls' kindness and warmth.

"Oh?" Minnie questioned as she stared at one of her books in her Oswald's lap. "Studying up on vampires Ozzy?" The rabbit shook his head. "Nope, just trying to find a vampire's weaknesses. But everything here just talks about how they can die by certain weapons or by other vampires themselves."

"Hmm, I see." Oswald sighed as sunk further into the couch. "May I ask a simple question Ozzy?" The rabbit shrugged his shoulder as his way of saying 'ask away'. "Is there a particular reason why you're looking up vampire weaknesses?"

Oswald felt his face heat up as the events of last week's first encounter with a certain vampire mouse came to his mind.

"Oswald we have a guest coming." Ortensia spoke from across the table."Why so late at night?"

"Well, about that...you see.." Minnie began but was interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. Ortensia leaped from her seat at the dinner table and ran toward the front door. "Well, it might be easier if you saw it with your own eyes. You might able to tell."

"What is it?"

"Mister Mickey, a good evening to you," Ortensia called and was greeted with a white rose, making her blush and smile. "Good evening  to you Miss Ortensia, how are you doing?"

"I'm doing well. How's life at the castle?" Mickey chuckled "Everything's going well. Now, where is Miss Minnie?"

"Oh, she's right over here." Ortensia led the mouse to the dining room where Minnie and Oswald were still eating their meals on the table. As soon as Ortensia and Mickey entered the room, Oswald instantly froze as his vampire hunter instincts went on full alert. "O..Oswald?" the cat stared at the rabbit who was looking at Mickey with hateful eyes. Oswald felt his arms clench tightly at his side. The aura radiating off the mouse was similar to the creature killed his family and only close friend. Oswald felt so much hate fill his body, that he found himself grabbing a knife from the table and charging toward Mickey with every intent to stab the vampire to death.

"Oswald...NO!" Minnie screamed as Ortensia tried to shield Mickey only to be stopped by Mickey himself. "Y-you're a Vampire..!" Oswald yelled and stuck the tip of the knife in Mickey's hand. "Ah, Mickey!" Both girls screamed as they saw blood start to drip from the wound the rabbit caused. "Attacking me so suddenly like that. That wasn't very kind of you." Mickey said with a raised eyebrow. "Shut up! You smell just like that creature!" Mickey tilted his head to the side "Creature? Oh! So, you're the last child of the Van Helsing family? I heard a lot about you." Mickey answered while pulling the knife from his arm. "While I am sorry for your loss, but I have no intention of getting killed by you." Oswald could only glare at Mickey as Minnie made her way to Oswald.
