Mirajane and Grimmjow leapt back from each other. As they did Grimmjow began to grin. "So girl...I have to say, you've got an odd spiritual pressure around ya. Almost hollow-like..."
"Not surprising." said Mira. "If Hollows are demons then they would have similar traits to other demons. I don't wish to fight you though, honestly I rather hate violence."
Grimmjow began to laugh hysterically. "Are you kidding lady!? You think I'm just going to back off because of something like that!? Well let me tell you something about me. I live for destruction, battle is just something I'll do over and over again no matter how hidious people think it is. I don't care that I'm a prisoner in this desert, doomed to fight those who come and go..as long as I get to fight, I'm complete!"
"You sound like that man Erza met." said Mira.
"Kenpachi Zaraki and I are two of a kind!" said Grimmjow. "The difference is..I'm going to kill you rather you're still strong enough to fight or not!!"
Grimmjow launched himself at Mira, laughing as he hacked and slashed his blade at her with blinding speeds. Mira jumped aside in a blur and began countering with a massive barrage of punches and kicks, Grimmjow raised his sword and blocked each blow with the flat of his blade.
With each hit Mira made on Grimmjow's sword, there was a massive shockwave that erupted from the contact.
He's strong..Mira thought as Grimmjow suddenly flashed out of the way and reappeared behind her. And fast..
"Let's see if you can stop this cero!!" Grimmjow exclaimed as he shot another red energy blast at Mirajane.
Mira aimed a claw at the blast. "DEMON BLAST!!"
A powerful blast of purplish dark energy rammed against the cero, causing an explosive cloud to erupt around the fighters.
As the dust blew around the area, Grimmjow dashed and shot through the dust like a bullet, slicing his sword in a deadly graceful arc at Mira who dodged with equal skill. She returned blows in the form of a series of lightning quick punches, all of which Grimmjow took to the stomach.
However when the blows hit, Grimmjow merely grinned and took the powerful hits like they were nothing. "Is that all you've got...you couldn't even get through my hierro!!"
Grimmjow lashed out a foot and kicked Mira in the gut, causing her to fly out of the dust cloud and explode into the ground, creating a new dust cloud.
Grimmjow flew after Mira, his sword slicing forward with deadly intent.
Mira spat out a bit of blood and barely managed to dodge the sword blow. She pointed her talons at the side of Grimmjow's face as he passed by. "SOUL EXTINCTION!!!"
A powerful blast of dark energy wider then even Grimmjow's cero exploded from Mira's talons and tore through the desert, creating another massive explosion of sand around the battlefield.
Mira flew out of the sandy terrain and came to hover above the area, eyeing the dusty scene closely. No sooner had she gained altitude though, then when Grimmjow suddenly appeared from behind in a blur, using Sonido..the Arrancar version of a Soul Reaper's flash step.
"AHAHAHAHA!!!" Grimmjow laughed with glee as he slashed out his sword and Mira recieved a deep bleeding cut in the side that spurted out blood as she fell back.
Grimmjow shot forward and began hacking and slashing again, throwing up sparks whenever Mira used her scaley fists to knock the blade away.
"Don't be ridiculous!!" Grimmjow laughed as he continued to pound at Mira. "You think you're a demon!? But you're just a stupid poser! I'm the real demon around here!!!"
