Erza V.S. Kenpachi: A Battle Between Two Legends

Mikoto sat on the cliff overlooking the training valley, staring up at the moon above. Behind him, stood Shinji Hirako. He looked at Mikoto with a serious solemness. "You know, regardless of what you tell the other captains, they're not going to be as understanding. Ichigo might convince them a little...but not enough...the only way they'll hear you out and not kill you on the spot is if you beat them first..."

"That unreasonable huh?" Mikoto muttered. "That's unfortunate."

"You see." said Shinji. "After the betrayel of one of the captains, a man named Aizen...my former liutenant too by the way, the captains have gotten more paranoid about intruders. So...what are you going to do now Railgun?"

"There's no way I'll be able to find Angelus with all these major fighters coming at me all at once.." Mikoto murmured. "I'm going to fight them all first....then I'll find Angelus. I'll take them out all at once..."

"Hmmm.." said Shinji. "Good answer....except..."

Shinji took Mikoto by the collar of the back of her shirt then threw down into the valley. Mikoto, feeling shocked, shot out some sparks and slowed her fall with electromagnetism before landing on her feet. "Hey! What's the big idea!?"

Shinji jumped down into the valley and drew his sword. "Kid, you're nowhere near the level to take 5 or 6 captains at once in a one on 5 battle...you're strong...stronger then me...stronger then any one captain...but your experience is extremely lacking, you've only had your power for a year...but because of Yugami Town, not only have you not aged...but you've only had months of practice with your Dragon Slayer abilities and you haven't even summoned you Hollow Mask yet....."

"I know how!" Mikoto protested.

"But how long can you keep it on?" said Shinji. "You and me...3 days...that's all...I'm going to fight you nonstop for 3 days, no sleep, nothing but a full out brawl....by then...you're going to be so strong that even I'll be impressed.  You can develop fast Railgun...but you still need to go further if you want to win this battle!"

Shinji flash stepped forward and moved his hand over his face at the same time, summoning his mask. Mikoto blocked Shinji with her wings and there was a shockwave of lightning. The two combatants then leapt back from each other.

"So.." said Shinji in his echoish Hollow voice. "What'll it be?"

Mikoto grinned and moved her hand over her  face like she was clawing something back. Lightning trailed from her fingers and formed itself into a mask-like shape, then solidifying into the menacing skull with blue lightning bolt markings on each eye.

"By the time these three days are up.." said Mikoto in her echoish voice. "I'll have beaten those captains and the other 6!!"

"Nice.." said Shinji grinning behind his mask. "But you'll need to prove it with more then just words."

The two then dashed at each other, beginning their 3 day intense training...

Erza was never one who appreciated splitting up...but when Othinus had suggested it, she knew it was the best option to quickly search out Angelus, especially since they didn't know where exactly in Sereitei Angelus was.

Erza looked around the massive towers that surrounded her, she judged that she must have been close to the center of Soul Society right now.The design of the towers, how tall they were, the surrounding wide areas lacking the maze-like walls, Erza knew this was a place of importance...which was why she was completely surprised that she hadn't run into more Soul Reapers here.
