Yes yes, I know that I ended book 1 on a practical cliff hanger, but that's only because if I didn't, I'd probably end up with 10000+ chapters and I'm sure that no one wants to read that. I only expected the book to be one book long, but after getting to the 50-60 chapter mark, I realised that the plot needed to be extended and thought out.
I'm sure no one is mad that there's a second book? More content?!
Enjoy the first chapter of the second book. It picks up from almost the same time as where book 1 left off.

"You know you can't stay much longer. You're the Beta, and the pack needs you."
Liam shot me a look; an eyebrow arched, eyes slightly narrowed. I smiled sheepishly at him as I quickly looked away. He hated me talking about him leaving me to return home.
"We aren't talking about this," Liam told me as he looked away. His expression turned cold as he focused his attention on folding the clean clothes that he'd just taken out the clothes dryer.
I pouted as I sat up and pushed the blanket off me. He scowled as I knocked over the small pile of clothes he'd already folded.
"But I want to talk about it," I told him as I crept forwards. He didn't look up at me, he kept his eyes on the shirt in his hands.
His mind buzzed and he twitched. I knew he wanted to look at me, but he knew he'd lose if he did. I was sure I was going to win. I always did.
He had a major soft spot for me.
"Not now, Ali," Liam said through clenched teeth as he tried hard to keep his gaze averted. I smirked and then rolled my eyes as I continued to crawl over to him.
"That's what you've been saying for the past week! When are you going to want to talk about it?" I tilted my head at him as he snuck a slight glance at me. Our eyes barely met before he focused on folding clothes again.
"Never. Try then," he replied coldly. I snorted at this as he reached for another shirt. I grabbed his wrist as he went to pull away.
He looked up at me and I smirked. I'd already won.
Liam's chest rumbled. His rumble vibrated the bed only slightly and I giggled a little as I crawled a little further towards him. He shook his head and grabbed my wrist, pulling my hand away from his. He grabbed the shirt with both hands and folded it.
I moved my leg and kicked away the neatly folded pile of clothes off the bed. Liam's eyes widened as he growled at me.
"Ali, stop. I don't want to talk about leaving," Liam told me sternly. I jutted out my bottom lip and I crossed my arms. I stood tall on my knees and stared at him.
"You can't stay here with me forever. You're needed there now, and tomorrow, and the day after that! Remember? You told me that there's a huge group of transfers arriving tomorrow," I told him. Liam huffed out and shrugged at me carelessly.
He'd grown careless at the fact that he had to return to Takiani eventually. He was pissed off at Henry for taking me away from him, and he was also pissed at Henry because he knew that I knew things about Henry that Liam didn't.
Liam had figured out that something was going on. But I wasn't sure that he was ready to hear about the news.
The fact that his Alpha was a traitor and his parents' murderer made my skin crawl. Henry was responsible for everything to do with rogues over the last few years, and Liam had no idea, despite being Henry's Beta the entire time.
