The room was full with people. I was anxious. Too anxious. Liam was definitely going to question me once he got back. Henry had him swamped with work all day and Liam wasn't allowed to leave his office until he finished it.

Which gave me the perfect opportunity to go behind his back to tell his family and friends what Henry had been doing.

I sipped on my drink and looked to Ezra. He shot me a look as I glanced into the living room where everyone was sitting. I didn't want to do it anymore. I didn't want to tell them.

How would they even react? Would Leon and Lucas be able to control themselves around Henry? Would Lila still be able to suck up to Melissa?

"You'll be okay. Just tell them everything," Bodie assured me. He patted my back in an attempt to comfort me and I smiled weakly back at him.

Damnit.

This was too hard already.

I walked into the living room, and everyone went quiet and turned their heads to me. I gulped anxiously as I cupped my mug harder. I glanced over at Ezra again. He nodded assuringly at me as he sat on the couch, Jenny quickly sitting on his lap.

"What's the news that you have to tell us? It's way past my bed time," Lucas yawned out. Brianna who was on his lap, swatted his arm and rolled her eyes as she turned her head to me and smiled. An encouragement to continue.

My beast howled. She wanted to run away.

"Well, it's no secret that I found out what Henry has been up to, and what he's done," I started slowly. Everyone in the room looked a little speechless. I didn't expect them to understand straight away.

But it'd be damn nice if they did.

"How?" Alfie piped up first. He sat beside Leon, who had Cass clutched closely to him. He looked tense, as did Lucas. I feared they'd turn murderous and storm out.

Bodie said he'd help if they got out of hand. Although I doubted he'd do much against two furious werewolves.

"As you probably know, our pack has a group of witches... they told me everything," I replied. Everyone looked at each other, trying to find some assurance within each other.

"Well?" Quo pushed a little. I gulped, swallowing the lump in my throat as best as I could.

"I went for a run one day, I came across their hut in the middle of a grass field. It's located not too far out, but it's very secluded and private. I wouldn't have found it if I hadn't pushed through the trees," I started slowly. Everyone sat attentively, listening. I wanted them to leave.

I didn't want to tell them. My bones aches and groaned.

"I got to the cottage and they all knew who I was. They know all of you, it was like I wasn't meeting them for the first time," I explained a little. Slowly, I put down my mug, crossing my arms instead, shifting anxiously on my feet.

"I've met them before. They're good people," Alfie said quickly. Everyone glanced at him, and I nodded. They all looked back to me. I shifted from foot to foot faster.

I quivered nervously. Chills ran up my spine.

"They invited me inside and they told me everything. I guess I'll start from the beginning," I sighed out softly.

Before I could go on, Leon cleared his throat. I looked to him, praying he'd say something to stop me from telling him the truth. I didn't want to repeat it.
