I saw Liam leading the group of transfers. There was a lot of them. They all looked intrigued by the new land around them. A lot of people in the pack had stopped what they were doing to look at the new people that would be possibly joining the pack. I stared at them intensely, wondering if I knew any of them.

Their scents hit my nose all at once and I searched hard to try and find one that I recognised. When I found nothing, I shrugged slightly to myself and looked away. Alfie had already began making his way over.

It was his job to introduce himself to the newbies on their very first day, just as he had done when I'd first arrived in Takiani. I watched Cameron race out the infirmary and towards the group.

Other leaders followed in pursuit. I watched them all grin at the newcomers and I watched Liam make introductions. Hands were shook and greetings were exchanged. I looked back to Kade and Brayleigh.

"That really is a big group of transfers, huh," I said with a nod. Brayleigh laughed out and nodded and she glanced from me to the group again.

"Lucas looks eager," she frowned. I looked back to where she was looking and saw Lucas jogging towards the group. I noticed the gleam in his eyes and the sweat that glistened on his forehead and arms.

I saw Leon leave the cabin after him and rush off towards him. I frowned at this and shrugged. Kade laughed and I turned my attention to him.

"He just found his mate, for sure," Kade said. I looked back to Lucas with wide eyes as I saw Liam push Lucas back. Leon grabbed him and tugged him back slightly.

"It's her. I found her. Finally," I heard Lucas' raspy voice. I smiled warmly. My beast yipped in approval. He'd finally found his mate.

I was so happy for him. He was my little brother. He had finally found the one girl on the planet who could make him the happiest man alive. He deserved it.

"Lucas, you can't take her now. She's in the middle of a briefing. Can you wait at least five minutes?" Liam said sternly. Lucas stiffened and I saw him wince. He didn't like to wait.

That boy was impatient.

"Fine. But I'm tagging along," Lucas breathed out finally. Liam stopped trying to keep Lucas away from the group, and Leon just laughed as he slapped his twin on the back.

"Good for him. He deserves it," I said with a nod. Brayleigh giggled and nodded also.

"Just think, now he'll probably be too occupied to interrupt you and Liam all the time," Brayleigh giggled at me. I scoffed at her and shoved her shoulder.

"Bitch," I said, playfully. She giggled more as the three of us made our way towards Leon who was heading back to his cabin. He saw us coming and stopped, smiling warmly at us.

"Can you believe it? Of course he meets his mate today," Leon said as he sighed out. I shrugged at him and looked back to Lucas, who walked behind the group of transfers, his eyes fixated on the blonde haired girl that walked in the middle of the group.

I watched her sneak a glance back at him, and then saw her giggle and look away. I wondered if I would like her.

"He's lucky. With a group that big, I wouldn't be surprised if another person met their mate too," Kade said with a shrug. Leon nodded and laughed out. He scratched the back of his head.
