Lila's character is so full of life and love. Her character is my honest to God favourite out of them all. After Ezra of course.... I hope you enjoy the his chapter and next chapter in Lila's POV

Lila's POV

The rain was cold on my skin was we walked down the sidewalk. I huddled as close to the wall as I possibly could and still had the rain dropping down on the right side of my face and body. I had not realised how damn cold it was.
Lying in that trunk for all that time was actually quite nice. It was very warm.
The mark on my neck heated a little and I figured that it was Charlie. He'd probably already figured out that I'd left. I wondered if he'd be mad.
No.
He'd probably just shower my face with a million kisses and tell me never to do it again.
"Your ass better come back in one piece or I'll be furious," Charlie's voice told me through our bond. I bit my bottom lip anxiously.
"Well, I can't really think of any vampires that shred young girls' asses. So I think it'll be fine," I replied, trying to shed some light on the situation.
I heard Charlie's growl over the bond link and I held back a sigh. I shoved my hands deeper into my pockets and clenched my jaw.
"I'll have your ass, Lila Hastings. Don't test me," Charlie told me. I knew he was only being protective of me.
But I also knew that I was going to be fine. I had Liam and Alison by my side. Liam probably would've liked to see me get hit in the face a few times, but I knew that Alison would never let a hand touch me if it came down to it.
That girl loved me. I didn't blame her.
"Ali will keep me safe. You can blame her if I come back injured," I told Charlie, trying to pin the blame on Alison, as much as I loved her. I didn't want to get in trouble.
I was sure Alison would mind anyway.
"Not funny, Hastings," Charlie growled back. I couldn't help but smirk to myself as it was in fact, very funny.
"If we weren't in public and on human territory, I'd hurt you right now," Leon growled when we came up to him. We stood under a spot on the side wall that was away from the downfall of the rain.
I smiled sheepishly at him and shrugged my shoulders. I was more than glad that we weren't in a place where they could all beat my ass, and I was also glad that by the time we got home, they'd probably forget about wanting to throw me in the dirt.
"You're one man short. Lucas isn't that good. I fill his shoes easily," I said. Liam and Leon both groaned loudly as Bodie held back a chuckle.
Alison just shook her head. "Let's not worry about the fact that you're here when you shouldn't be. We need to focus on finding Cassius and Drusilla."
I nodded in agreement with Alison. We needed to find her friends. They were clearly really important to her. If they meant a lot to her, then they meant a lot to me too.
