"You're absolutely insane! Do you have any damn idea how risky that was?" Liam exclaimed as he gently pushed Alison back against the dashboard. He held her head up as he pressed the damn cloth to her bleeding thigh.
She said nothing as she limply tried to hold herself up. She was exhausted. She'd taken too many hits to the head while fighting those vampires. When Liam picked her up from the ground, she was unconscious.
Liam adjusts the seat. He pushes it back even more so that he has more room to tend to Alison in the front seat. She looked incredibly uncomfortable, sat on Liam's lap whilst he tried to stop the bleeding on her leg.
After Liam and I had gotten out the cellar, we were faced with more vampires. Ezra and Jenny had joined the fight with Leon and Bodie went to get the cars from where we'd parked them. They'd returned and Liam jumped into the car with Alison in his arms.
Bodie and I only just managed to make it into the car with Liam to avoid being left behind. The vampires were savage and ruthless as they attacked us.
The others were all in Ezra's truck. Mira was beyond excited when she was reunited with her friends again. I was happy that we'd found them.
"I would kick your ass if you weren't so injured right now," Liam muttered out to Alison. I watched the small smile appear on her face.
She'd fallen unconscious after a hard hit to the head and fell down. A vampire swiped at her thigh and slashed her open pretty bad before he tried to suck the blood from her neck.
She was damn lucky that Bodie kicked the vampire away before he could get his hands on her. She would've been dead in moments.
"We'll fix it up better when we get home," Liam finally sighed to himself, shaking his head. He pulled her forwards, kissing her forehead before he adjusted her.
He pushed her legs to one side and cradled her in his arms. She snuggled against his chest and shut her eyes. Liam stroked her hair and tried to calm himself.
He could've lost his mate. He wasn't there to help her. If it weren't for Bodie, she'd be dead.
"How's your face, little one?" Bodie asked me. I looked up at him and shrugged as I felt the cut on my forehead.
I hadn't realised it was split open until only moments ago from where I smashed it on the ground when the vampires first arrived to fight us. Charlie was going to have my head.
"It's fine, I think," I replied with a small smile. Bodie grabbed some of the clean cloth that Liam wasn't using and he turned and pressed it gently against my head. I winced at the pain, but held it to my head.
Charlie was definitely going to kill me.
"Good job tonight, kiddo. You did well," Bodie told me. Leon scoffed from the front seat.
He was still angry that I'd shown up. He didn't like that I purposely put myself in danger. He didn't even like the fact that Alison had to come on the trip, let alone me. He was furious that I'd snuck myself into the car.
I knew that I was going to get scolded for it later on when everything was calm again. He was a damn hot head.
"You wouldn't have hurt yourself if you had stayed home like we organised," Leon retorted. I sighed and leaned back into my seat, trying to relax. It was late and we wouldn't be getting home until even later.
