Lucas and Leon both walked me to my training group. Lucas gave a warning growl to Anthony before he gave me a look; a look that told me he was worried. Then, they both left, heading back to their cabins.

Lucas was in the middle of moving all his things into his new home with Brianna. I still hadn't seen where they were living.

"Don't get yourself in trouble," Lucas told me. I said nothing as I crossed my arms. I approached Gameboy and Colson.

They greeted me with warm smiles. I smiled back and pushed the confusing thoughts to the back of my mind. They'd be dealt with later.

"What's up with little bro being so grumpy this morning?" Gameboy asked me. Colson nudged him.

"Shut up, Miles. It's obviously private. I told you not to say anything," Colson growled out. I raised my eyebrows a little. Gameboy's real name was Miles? Huh. The more you know.

"Family stuff. Don't worry about it," I said to him with a shrug. Miles looked at me curiously and then nodded his head.

He was a curious guy, but he knew better than to push at things he didn't know about. I wondered what they would think if they knew the whole story.

"We have some really uneven numbers today. The weather has admittedly been a little off lately so the ground is slippery and wet— not that I care anyway, but we will be having some people come to fill in so everyone gets a shot at sparring," Quo announced to the group. I looked around curiously.

There were normally about fifteen kids in the group, but a lot of them hated training in the bad weather, plus, Lila had been out for the last few days. The poor girl seemed heartbroken.

I made note to stop by her cabin to see her after training.

"Like who?" One kid piped up. Everyone glanced at him before turning their attention back to Quo who smiled at everyone.

"Well, we have Ezra joining us. All of you would know him. He may be a vampire, but I'm sure a few of you could put him in the dirt a few times. We also have Leon as well, but he seems to be late right now. Alfie may also stop around at one point, but I wouldn't bet on it," Quo replied, glancing around. I noticed Ezra was making his way towards the group wearing his 'sexy workout gear'.

Admittedly, he did look quite good.

Ezra was a toned man. He was tall and broad. Jenny always gushed about how magnificent he was.

"A vampire? Sparring with wolves? You must be bat shit crazy!" Someone hissed out. Everyone began to nod in agreement. Quo sighed out in frustration.

He'd been incredibly irritable since I'd broken the news to him. He was still kind and polite, but seemed a little more short tempered than usual.

"Who here would spar with Ezra then?" Quo groaned out. No one except for me raised my hand.

"Excellent. At least one person here has guts. Ali, you can spar with Ezra, I'm sure he won't mind," Quo announced. He began pairing everyone up as Ezra came up next to me.

"No one wants to spar with you, old man. Maybe you should go back to bed. Tea and crumpets awaits, hmm?" I teased him as he nudged me playfully. Ezra scowled at me.

"I'm not old. I may be over three hundred, but. I don't look a day over thirty!" Ezra hissed out to me. I laughed his comment and nodded. He wasn't wrong.
